Trying to duplicate "A" key on Time Warner Cable Remote

I'm trying to duplicate the A function on my TW remote. It's the one that confirms I want to delete a recorded program after I've watched it. Just about everything else works fine.
Thanks, Ken Blitchington

Do you have the code for the remote. Usually cable companies have this info on the spec that came with the remote
Follow the directions how to code it and this should work.

Trying to find a remote code. The tv is a 19"PLEDV1945A-B and the remote is a Time Warner UR5U-8780L-TWC

TV Instructions:
TV Codes: try 333
or 116, 143, 258, 363
STEP 1 Turn on the TV.

STEP 2 Press the [TV] button and the [OK/SEL] button simultaneously for three seconds. The TV Device LED will turn on indicating that the remote is in the programming mode. The LED will remain on for 30 seconds and the next step must be entered while the LED is on.

STEP 3 Point the remote control toward the TV and enter the three-digit code number assigned to your brand device (codes can be found in the code tables in the user guide or online). If there are more than one three-digit number listed for your brand, try one code number at a time until your TV turns off.

Note: When the TV turns off you can verify that you have selected the correct code by pressing the [POWER] button. The TV should turn back on. Then try all of the functions on the remote control (i.e. volume, mute, etc.) to ensure you have the correct code. If any of the functions do not operate as they should, repeat the instructions from STEP 3 above using the next three digit code number from the brand list.

STEP 4 Store the three-digit code by pressing the [TV] button once again. The TV Device LED will blink twice to confirm that the TV code has been stored.

Need to unlock the channel control on new Time Warner RC122 remotes to be able to change TV channel. Function is not even mentioned in their manual & TW on-line support was no help.

They are made for TW boxes only to control their TVs. I do not believe the option you request is available. use the original remote for the TVs to change the channels on the TVs.

Programming time warner remote to boston tvee volume

I had just about given up on programming my Time Warner universal remote with my Boston Soundbar until a mental lightbulb came on. This is a two step process. Step 1: Program your Time Warner remote (I have CLIKR-5, instructions available for other models at timewarner.com) Using Pre-Programmed 3-digit Code method -Turn on soundbar - Press device button (I chose AUX) and OK/Select simultaneously until device button stays lit. - Point remote control toward the soundbar and enter code (447 for Boston Acoustics) - Press the device button again to store the code. The TW instructions say you should now be able to turn the device off to verify that it works, but this is not true for the soundbar. Hang in there with me. Step 2: Program your remote from the Boston Soundbar. - Press the power button and the volume up button simultaneously until the indicator light flashes orange. Here's where the instructions provided with the soundbar fail to explain how to do this. Each button is individually programmed into the TW remote. What you have done so far is enable the remote to accept the programming. - Volume Up: press the volume up button on the soundbar while it is flashing, the light should become steadily orange. - While holding the remote steady about a foot away from the soundbar, slowly press the volume up button on the TW remote four times. The orange light should flicker each time you do, turning green when completed. - Volume Down, Mute, Power: repeat the steps for Volume Up, except press the button on the soundbar you wish program to the TW remote while the soundbar is flashing orange. It should become steady before you press the corresponding button on the TW remote. Good luck, I hope this helps. -Deidre.

My tv remote quit working. I would like the code for Daewoo TV, model No. DTQ-13P2FC to enter in another remote.

For Time Warner Cable TV Remote Codes for DAEWOO-TV's - Go to Time Warner Cable web site to PROGRAM REMOTE -- Site URL is http://www.timewarnercable.com/en/residential-home/support/pyr.html Then select TW Cable remote model. Under Control a Device -- first select type of device (TV) Then select Brand Name (DAEWOO). TW Cable lists several codes to cover different models. Choose a code and input into remote to see which code works. Try all codes. There were several codes to choose from and to try inputting into my TW Cable remote. Finally, the next to last code worked on my TW Cable remote -The Atlas OCAP 5-Device Remote Control by Universal Electronics. The code for this remote for Daewoo TV Model DTQ-13P2FC is 1661. Hope this helps. Otherwise, try checking the site of your cable or satellite provider & you should be able to get their add device codes for free.

I just bought a 52 inch samsung my volume does not work on my cable remote.everything else works ok i have to use remote for the tv to adjust the volume. i have time warner

Did you try another time warner remote if yes then this is normal because if on/off works that means the volume function is not coded for the time warner remote because the set is to new.
