SOURCE: Adobe Audition 3 Not Sensing Mic

Check the input and output settings. Look in the preferences or settings menu for "i/o settings" or "i/o setup." You're going to set it from the default internal mic input to this one. It sounds like it may be that simple.

SOURCE: my behringer c1u doesn't have

First, I'll ask a question. Can you get any sound at all? If so, then you're getting the right amount of power, and your LED is broken. If not, then you've either got a problem with the USB port, the USB cable, or the mic itself.

If it's the port, you'll have to go to your computer's device manager and see if it brings up any errors with the USB.

If it's the cable, a new one can be purchased from Behringer.

If it's the mic, there might be a short somewhere inside, and a schematic, as well as someone who can solder, would be helpful.

Hope that helps!

SOURCE: I have a Behringer Mic

How to Operate a Behringer C-1U

The Behringer C-1U is a USB condenser mic for recording individual instruments. A condenser microphone is a mic that uses vibrations produced by sound to change the distance of internal plates that produce signal. Condenser mics typically require an extra change, known as phantom power, to operate. Since the C-1U is USB powered, phantom power is not needed. The Behringer C-1U has a frequency response that favors sounds around the 10KHz range. This heightens the clarity of recorded signals due to the microphone's treble boost.

Things You'll Need:

* Computer with USB 2.0 port
* USB cable
* Recording software

Instructions

Turn on the computer. When the operating system loads, connect the microphone.

Install any necessary drivers for the C-1U. This will happen automatically when the device is connected.

Select the Behringer C-1U as an input source in any desired audio software. In Windows, click the "Volume" icon in the task bar to open the mixer. Select the C-1U as the primary input. On Macs, use the "Audio/MIDI Setup" in the "System Preferences" menu to select the C-1U as the primary input

Note: make sure you activate the phantom power on the mic. That's the only way to power up the microphone.

Have a nice day.

I have a behringer xenyx 1222. It will not power up. Although when I turn the power on and the phantom power the phantom light come on the desk. But that is all. How can I fix this?

Does nobody read the question? He doesn't say the phantom power is on when its unplugged he says the mixer doesn't power up although the phantom light does.
I had exactly this & it was that one leg of the 5 volt regulator had never been soldered. It must have initially made contact with the edge of the pin hole but over time that went. A quick solder job & all was well, although I did change a couple of electrolytics just in case.

How do I get my Behringer C-1U mic to work?

I'm having the same problem, however I can say that Phantom Power is out of the question. the c-1u is a variation of the c-1. The difference is that the u doesnt require phantom power

I have an Behringer Xenyx 1222FX that won't power on but when switching on the phantom power light does illuminate. Checked all fuses and those are fine

The phantom power light wouldn't illuminate unless the unit was powered on. Possibly the main power indicator light is burned out.

The c-1 mic is not working.The red light will not turn on when i put it into my laptop

With the C-1 it does require phantom power to work. On the board your using make sure the +48(phantom power) button is pressed in and it should be golden.
If it's the C-1U, the drivers must be installed first. http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/C-1U.aspx
Good Luck, Cody J.

How to connect behringer ultragain pro mic

Here is the manual:http://www.behringer.com/EN/downloads/pdf/MIC2200_P0054_M_ENG.pdf Plug your microphone into the input using a proper cable. Plug another balanced cable into the output on the back and plug it into a microphone input on the mixing board. If your mixing board already has phantom power, disable it for that input as the MIC2200 has phantom power. Read the manual carefully and take note of the directions for phantom power and balanced cables. Make sure you follow the directions carefully. If you need the manual in a different language look the MIC2200 up under products at Behringer.com and you can download in pdf format in many different languges.
