Question about Maytag Atlantis MDG6400AW Gas Dryer
I have had a service man come and fix it but he didn't. He canceled payment.
At first He thought it was the sensor for the glow bar because it worked after he opened it and cleaned it off.
Then he thought it might be the vent which is all clear.
After he left I put a load of wet clothes in and heard the flame come on but the heat did not continue to cycle through to dry the clothes.
I have tried it on all cycles and nothing.
I even took the front off while there were a few dry clothes in and cleaned the sensor and started it up and watched the flame come on again.
I put the front back on put some wet clothes in and heard the flame come on and still no continued cycle of heat to dry clothes.
I would sstart by replaceing the gas valve coils they are located on the top of the gas vavle . they will weaken over time and will not stay energized to open the primary and secondary vavle
