Fn F8 is not working with Lenovo T410 . How do I turn this off ?

Had same problem. Download the new Trackpoint driver from lennovo the file name for 64 bit machine Windows 7 install is


Once installed (you will have to reboot too), you will be able to go to Mouse properties, and click on or off the UltraNav functions you don't like. STP

SOURCE: Driver not install for fn

You need to go to the Driver matrix on the site and get the driver for the system
Or get the system update utility and it will find the drivers you are missing and install them For XP and Vista For Win 7

Mine has the same problem. I am puzzled by answers telling you to 'download the trackpoint driver...' etc. How are we going to download something when our laptop won't even turn on? That was the original question posted? Or am I missing something here???...

My Fn + key is not working on my lenovo y450 laptop.pls advise.

it migt be turn off. try to press Fn + F1 + F2 + F3 + F4 + F5 + F6 + F7 + F8 + F9 + F10 + F11 + F12 to turn OFF or to turn ON. or you may go to BIOS to turn it on from there.

without more information, nobody can even attempt to help you. Why nobody on here took the time to tell you that is beyond me. It might be a hardware function or key combo proprietary to your laptop. Check with the Lenovo service department first, I doubt that Se7en has a software setting that will do what you say you want to do.

Can't turn on the wireless function

Try Fn+F8. else go to bios and turn on there.
