plz do this,
1. Turn off the console, unplug all the cables (including the power cable), and reconnect them again. Turn the Xbox on again.
2. Next to try is turning the console off again, and taking out the XBox hard drive. If after turning on the console again the three red lights are gone, turn it off and put the hard drive back in again.
3. Ensure that the light on the power supply is green even when the console has the three red lights.

Ring of death. i suggest you send your 360 to microsoft for repairs

by orange light do you mean 3 red flashing lights on the front? if so you have the red ring of death which is unfixable by someone with no experience, and they should replace that for free as it is a hardware crash which is there fault all the first xbox 360s got it at some stage

THis issue is a motherboard issue, sort of like the 3 red lights on the Xbox 360.  It will need to be repaired.  If it is under warranty then send it to Sony, otherwise we fix this issue in my repair shop, just go to joegoods.com

The fan sounds like it is malfunctioning. Two red lights mean the 360 is overheating. I suggest you don't turn on the 360 until you get the fan replaced as this may damage your 360 more and lead to more problems with the motherboard. If its under warranty then you should get it fixed for free but if not then you might have to pay.

When it does that turn it off imediatley and it should stop
