Question about Nikon COOLPIX S6 Digital Camera
When i take a picture, my picture comes out black
the camera turns on fine, batteries are charged and everything. but the screen is black. it acts as if it was going to take a picture but the screen does not change from a black screen as if the lens cap was on. and when i take the picture, it takes a black image. still a black screen. what do i do? i dont have insurance for it. my camera is a nikon coolpix s6. i bought six months ago. will i still be covered under a warranty?

Oh double my gosh! I had just finished reading every horrible posting on different websites regarding the Coolpix S6 and was about to just trash the camera when I found this posting. THANK YOU so much for taking the time to post this solution. I thought it might be a joke but then again, what could I lose? It absolutely worked. Unbelievable! My screen has been black for almost a year now and have been intending to try to get it in somewhere to be fixed, just haven't had time.
