SPOOLER PROBLEM FOR WINDOWS 7 - HP LaserJet 1018 Printer

  • Marvin

Do you have Windows 7 software drivers loaded for this printer, Windows 7 shares no drivers with older Windows versions such as XP, Vista, 2000 and so on.

My Lexmark Z705 Will not Print HELP

Use the Vista driver in Windows 7.
Also, make sure that the Print Spooler service in your computer is running. Try following the steps below:
  1. Browse to Start -> Run... and type in NET STOP SPOOLER (this will stop the print spooler service)
  2. Browse to your windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS\ folder. You should see files there ending in .SPL and .SHD created around the time you tried to print - delete these files.
  3. Browse to Start -> Run... and type in NET START SPOOLER (this will restart the print spooler service)

Try to print a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.
