The solution#1 answer is mine,it's happen i forgot to "sign in" thats why my rank is apprentice and guest.I will re write again here down so i get the rating.Try these test,the only common possibility would be the transformer and the power supply if both channels are out.You better to check both the positive and negative voltages from the power supply to see if both are present or if one or both are missing.This would be DC voltages of approx. 20 to 40 volts.The positive voltage must be equal to the negative voltage,with the exception of their polarity. The transformer can be checked for AC voltage before the power supply .This reciever uses a single power supply so the problem would be common to both channels.You better change the regulator and checked some capacitor near the regulator.

How do i connect a subwoofer to my stero technics su-800mk2 amplifier

You would connect any non-specific subwoofer according to its needs:

passive = to an amplifier channel;

active (self-powered) = per its manual and the capabilities of the source.

Given the lack of a specific subwoofer facility on the SU-800, you need a sub that can be driven by full-range speaker level output. Its manual would describe the procedure. Keeping in mind that most active subs are pretty much the same speaker-level-connection-wise (if they allow it), you could find just about any manual and wit would get you running.

I have a technics amplifier SU G75

I have a technics too, and faced the same problem. The solution is very simple just ensure the +ve and -ve wires are connected correctly for each speaker to the amp. Eg. red wire to the red knob and black wire to the black on both ends. sometimes this arises because the wires are of just one color however there will be some marking on the wire to indicate which is +ve and -ve. This took care of the overload problem.

Technics su-v98. Powers on but no sound can be heard, not even through the headphones jack.

Make sure it is not on mute. Check rear of receiver to make sure AUDIO IN has not become disconnected. Check input selector and verify that it matches the audio source.
