Try the following:
1) Check your headsets. Use another player to test it. If it works then the problem is within your MP3 Player.
2) Adjust the volume. If it does not work...
3) Reset your MP3 player by pressing the reset button found below the volume buttons.
4) Unlock the hold switch.

Not sure how old your mower is. Have you noticed the loss of torque after it runs for awhile? I have this same mower and I just recently had to overhaul the transmission due to torque loss. If not you could check the linkage that goes from the petal to the transmission. That could not be engauging the reverse fully.

Kef kube 2 sub woofer ssems to have just gone really quiet, I have checked my setting, tried cranking up the volume on the sub woofer which does affect it but not by much, I have a yamaha RX v107 amp, My...

You need to determine if the loss of volume is connected to the output of the amp, or it's the subwoofer's fault.
If you are able to adjust the volume on the sub, that to me sounds like it could be your amp that has lost volume. If you can borrow or get another sub from somewhere, you can test it on the amp. If that is weak you know the faulty part. If it is the sub I would check the Electrolytic Capacitors as they can cause loss of volume.

D500 plays with muted sound

Please check the power to the circuits, it is possible that the voltage to the preamp section is reduced and so there is low amplification. You will need to inject a AF- audio frequency - signal to trace the loss of amplification.

Remove lock from volume setting

Limit the volume Listening to loud sounds for longer than a moment can be harmful to the listener. You can set the volume level of the player to suit your preferences: 1 From the main menu, select Settings > Sound settings > Volume limit > Settings. 2 Press Vol- or Vol+ to adjust the level. 3 Press to set. > When you set a volume limit, you can no longer exceed the set volume, even if you press the Vol+ button. To enable maximum volume again, set the volume limit back to maximum or turn off, select Settings > Sound settings > Volume limit > Off.
Thanks for rating Good luck

Flat screen tv power surged

Is it just the cable? Do you have a DVD player or game system connected? If so, how do they look? Ofter a momentary power loss can cause cableboxes to loss picture, loss sound, and even cause the picture to be distorted. Try unpluggind the AC power from the cablebox and TV. Wait about 5 minutes and reconnect both. Leave the cablebox alone for about another 5 minute after you reconnect it so that it can fully boot up. Then see if you still have the problem.

Continued question on Skewed picture and loss of control functions.

Not all the time but yes I have seen it happen about 60% of the time with the DMD board going bad. But it is possible that the DMD board is not the only problem your TV is having. The digital board (another board in your tv) can cause both these problems at the same time too. It is something that needs to be troubleshooted. But this info will narrow it down for you.

Loudness Equalization : on

Equalizer: Choose one (Jazz seems to be loudest setting but sounds of hallway effect so I use powerful for clarity.)

This has more than doubled the level of volume on my acer 5570.
