Question about ViewSonic VX924 19" LCD Monitor
Ok well I think ya have a Power Supply problem with ya Monitor...
But to be sure try it on another PC see if problem follows, if NOT then maybe ya Video card is starting to bug out?
But I punt for the PSU in the Monitor.. As an aside check the Pins inside the Monitor connector see they are all OK

Tips for a great answer:
Oct 27, 2011 | Computers & Internet
Feb 02, 2010 | Samsung SyncMaster 244T Monitor
Feb 06, 2009 | LG FLATRON L1970HR LCD Monitor
Nov 18, 2008 | LG Flatron L1750S 17" LCD Monitor
May 29, 2008 | Dell UltraSharp 2001FP 20.1" LCD Monitor
One of 2 possibilities come to mind.
1, The vga chord is loose on the back of the monitor.
2, Your resolution is set too high or low to be displayed.
The blinking light means that the monitor is either not getting or understanding a signal.
Hope this helps.
