The blade that you need is carbide-tipped, many-toothed with the proper center-bore diameter. A chopsaw is usually used for cutting steel parts and not particularly precise for flooring. Good luck!

When cutting 7.5" laminate wood floor with 12" miter saw. When we cut, the very end of wood(1.25"at the same place on every piece). Does this mean blade is dull?

Hi Shaun:
Just a couple of things to try:
- Make sure the laminate is supported at both sides when cutting.
- Make sure the laminate is held firmly against the fence and deck when cutting.
- Do not "rush" the cut. Laminate is very hard and does not like to be hurried.
- Make sure that the correct blade (teeth) is being used.
- And yes, the blade has to be SHARP
