Question about Computers & Internet
I have a Gateway Tower E 3600. It has 3 RAM slots. Two slots had 128 of RAM so I wanted to upgrade the RAM. I switched off the computer from the power button (did not unplug the power supply from the wall socket) and took out one of the RAM card to see its type. When I put it back and pressed the power button, it gave me 3 long beeps. There is no display on the monitor either but the processor is running as it gets hot.
Advise me pls.
You prbably have burned your memory. take same memory you touched out and reboot.you should be fine. And your memory is (sdram pc133).
