Run 'sysprep -factory'

the above application can be found on a Windows XP installation cd-rom under support and inside deploy.cab which can be extracted using windows.

google 'sysprep -factory' for more information.

I think the asker means "how do I set mu aspire 9300 to riginal regional settings", rather than "how do I restore my apire 9300 to original factory settings".

So if the first answerer's advice was accepted, the asker now does have the original Regional Settings but has also wiped all his/her data as well.

Control Panel > Regional & language Settings > select country settings from drop menu adding preferred regional settings with "Add" and removing undesired ones with "Remove" > change settings in all 3 Tabs - General, then Languages - Details OK > Advanced > Apply > OK

This is for archive purposes, in case someone reviews old posts looking for answers.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My acer aspire 9300 have beep code: 1 long and 2 short in start up..

This beep code is -

one long, two short beeps
  • System board failure
  • Video adapter problem
  • LCD assembly failure

This is most likely a video problem.
Try re-seating the RAM, the video RAM is shared, uses part of the main RAM.
Also try restoring the BIOS setting back to the default settings.

Boot up cycles, windows appears, but reverts back to boot

It may just be a default setting in the new BIOS. Enter the BIOS setup and check the SATA mode - I've seen this occur with the ACHI mode for example. Otherwise you could try Safe Mode and see if you can get into Windows at all. You can also press F8 while booting and select the option to Disable Automatic Reboot so that you can see the Error that is occuring for further diagnosis.

Acer aspire

If it keeps booting in the safe mode, at the desktop it will say SAFE MODE in each corner of the screen.

If it does boot to the safe mode, click start, RUN, MSCONFIG click OK

Click the Boot.ini tab,. and see if the /SAFEBOOT option is checked.

If the screen doesn't say safe mode, then your video resolution is set too low, and adjusting Display properties and or reinstalling the video driver should resolve.
