Depends on the processor and the operating system you are using on the computer.
However 2GB should be ideal if you don't intend to play high end graphic games on it.
Thanks. If this was helpful, then kindly rate me.

Can i buy and install my own memory upgrade? if so what are size and compatibility issues to avoid? thanks

Toshiba Satellite A135-S2356 has a maximum of 2GB which can be installed in the maximum 2 memory Slots in the memory compartment: 2 X 1GB PC2-4200 DDR2 SODIMM (200 pins) memory stick.
Note that in general, especially for older laptops, that you should not mix different size/brand of memory stick as the unit may even fail to boot or can behave erractically (reboots or system freezes).
Hope it helps.

hello sir

Solving Your Red Light Flashing:

1) Remove your hard drive and/or memory units.
2) Run "Initial Setup" under the system blade.
3) Decline inserting HDD or memory unit when prompted.
4) Sync your controller and pop in a game.

Blue screen saying stop: oxoooooo24(0x00190203................ cant start in any safe mode

the blue color screen display is within the system or hardware conflict which commonly called fatal error. The best way to correct the problem is to re-install the OS. Your system is corrupted due to system or hardware conflict. Or before doing the re-installation of OS, pls try to remove the memory and have the memory pins clean using a pencil eraser or any eraser available eraser you have. Then install the memory to the slot and power ON your unit. If the same happens in your unit then you need to reformat/reinstall your OS. thanks

I just bought a Max Memory card and the xbox 360 is not reading it

Before christmas, microsoft were threatening to block all non official microsoft memory units from being used on the xbox, I have no idea whether they have carried out this threat, but there seems to be alot of problems with memory units lately, your best to contact customer support and find out whats going on. www.xbox.com/support

Where do u go to buy memory cards for the tungsten

Palm Expansion Slot - Expansion cards can be added for extra memory, data back up or slot content such as reference and language translators, sold separately.
You can use SD, SDIO or MMC memory cards. Take your unit to Office Depot, or Best Buys and purchase one. You can probavbly try it in the store before purchasing.

HP Nc4200 laptop, installing an additional memory

Hi,
After looking at your posted picture you have not clipped the ram into place properly, it should clip into place like this >>>>>>

As you can see the metal heads on the levers sit in the grooves that are cut out of the memory module.
Once in place properly the laptop will boot up.

Good luck.
