The Quinny Zapp / Quinny Zapp Xtra is not suitable to use with a carrycot. Due to the lightweight and short wheel base of the Quinny Zapp / Quinny Zapp Xtra use of a carrycot is dangerous as it may cause instability and tipping.
The chassis can be used with a Maxi Cosi Pebble or Maxi Cosi CabrioFix carseat from birth. The Quinny Zapp Xtra seat unit can be used with the From Birth Inlay for suitability from birth.
Hi Anny On both sides of the car-seat, where the carry-handle is attached, you can see a small button.(mostly grey)Push those at the same time and pull the car-seat off. Then you can put the pram on to the same adapters on your stroller. To take the pram off works exactly the same as the car-seat, that's a nice thing about Maxi-Cosi. Hope this helps!
i have the maxi cosi car seat and had the same problem. try this: reach behind the circular attachments that bind the car seat to the stroller and feel around for a small button. i couldn't see back there but could feel it. you have to click this and remove on each side. a little bit of a pain because you probably can't click both buttons and pull up all at once, so for me one side kept slipping back to the engaged position, but eventually i got it. best of luck.
Hi, all the maxicosi carseats will fit onto the zapp using the adaptors that come with the zapp pushchair (but not the newly rebranded bebe loola).
The difference between the maxi cosi cabriofix and the ordinary cabrio or citi is that the cabriofix can be attached to the maxicosi in-car seat base (easybase or easyfix), whereas the cabrio and citi can only be fitted in the car using the cars seatbelts, they wont attach to the incar base. Hope I have helped a bit x
