I had the same problem. The drivers from the cd and the website are not Vista compatible. You should be able to get it working by allowing Vista to install drivers itself.

How to connect onida g570 to pc for get internet connection

Assuming there's no standard PC Suite available from the manufacturer, using Bluetooth will be your best option. Get a Bluetooth dongle and install the driver for it. Most probably it will use Bluesoleil as the driver. Then you have to turn on bluetooth on the phone, discover it via the PC and set up a new connection.

Got a acer aspire one d255...would like to install a hp mouse wireless...how?

Most are plug & play in this century but older ones may require you to download drivers from HP
Here's HP's site for their drivers: http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/support.html

Since you do not have a Optical Drive you may have to invest in a basic external version if it came with a cd.
[This will be helpful in the long run if you want to install programs that are only in cd format]

Best bet is to find the drive on the above site.

Since I do not know the specific product name/number for the mouse here are three ways that I am aware of depending on what dongle is being used to connect your mouse to your notebook.

USB - Plug & Play
1) Stick the usb dongle into a usb port.
2) Wait a few minutes for something to pop up in your taskbar icons.
3) Wait for everything to load up and connect.

USB - CD
1) Try Plug & Play directions above first
2) If you have another computer/netbook/notebook look into copying the cd onto a usb jump drive
3) Using the cd converted jumpdrive as if the jumpdrive is the cd.

Bluetooth - No dongle included
1) Get yourself/plug in a bluetooth dongle to be able to use bluetooth
2) Read your manual guide - Look for a pin to type in when connecting the two.

I truly hope this helps! Just give me a shout if you need any further help.

I have some problem with my bluetooth iam using lenovo ideapad Y450 i got it just few months back...,i dont know what is the problem...maybe i deleted something r not ..m not sure can some one please...

usually you press Fn + F5, However this will not work untill Lenovo Energy Management is installed.. So install that first and hit Fn + F5 to see wireless on and bluetooth off.. set that to on and Windows will install the drivers automatically from windows update.. Or you can also use lenovo bluetooth driver below.

Or go to this web site and download bluesoleil drivers. These work great most times. http://www.bluesoleil.com/

How do I enable bluetooth connection on my machine

I have the same machine, and was also looking for a bluetooth device and found that there is not one. I assume that you are running windows vista and have been confused, as I was, by the generic bluetooth driver. This is a standard driver with vista, in case you plug in a bluetooth dongle. I, personally got fed up with vista and installed xp home and found a much more usable system and much more free HDD space.

Can't pair my HBH-PV705 bluetooth headset with my laptop

You need to have a bluetooth stack installed, so that you have "bluetooth places" available, where you can link up the headset.
A good instruction (for XP) is shown here.

Bluesoleil is definitely a good option.

Toshiba A200 Bluetooth XP problem (originally Windows Vista)

Make sure that you installed both the driver and a bluetooth manager software like : Bluesoleil (http://www.bluesoleil.com/) or Widcomm. Windows Vista has an In-Built manager while Vista doesn't have so you have to manually install one. If you dont know how to contact me at any time.

Acer aspire 3690 bluetooth driver

If the bluetooth dongle driver was on an included disc, make sure you opened or ran the disc/driver as the administrator instead of just opening in the normal manor. I've dealt with a few of the bluetooth dongles, but not many, so I'm going to say that if you keep getting the same message try either going to the manufacturer's web site to see if there's a driver download there, or exchanging the device for a different one, it could be that the disc with the driver is bad. Also, because I'm not overly familiar with these devices, I recommend you try asking Ekse if my suggestions do not work. Ekse is another of our experts here, he's extremely knowledgeable, and he may be more familiar with the devices than I am. You can find Ekse under find experts on the home page.

Bluetooth not installing on WinXP

Hi,

I looks like Acer designed this Notebook for Windows Vista only.

Have you wiped Vista and installed XP instead? If so is there a particular reason, like an old piece of software not working with Vista?

I would be inclined to put Vista back on it. Vista is much better and safer than XP once you get used to it, Especially on a laptop.

If you really want to keep XP, try looking for an older Acer notebook with the same bluetooth adaptor that came with XP installed and see if the driver works from that, its a long shot though.
