I have the same problem as above. I've installed every driver that I can find including the one above and still no workie? I'm down to re-installing motherboard drivers and firmware but that doesn't seem to be working working either. Funny thing the wireless card also on the motherboard works. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The Intel Nic driver did not install correctly. Click on the link below to download the Nic driver. Create a new folder on you're desktop & give it a name. Save the Nic driver into that folder.
Number 4. Under Drivers. LAN: Intel® PRO Network Connections Driver. File name: LAN_allOS_13.0.1_PV_Intel_165622.exe. Run the .exe from within the folder.
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=2377&OSFullName=Windows*+XP+Professional&lang=eng&strOSs=44&submit=Go%21
Re-install the driver. If windows still fails to install correctly than install through device manager. Click on the start button, slide up to & open control panel. Open the System icon. Click the hardware tab, than click on the device manager button. Find the yellow ! point for the nic driver. Right click once on the ! point, than slide up to & left click update driver. Windows hardware wizard will open. Click No, not at this time. Than click the next button. Another window will open. Left click once in the circle next to, Install from a list or specific location (Advanced). Than click the next button. Again, another window will open. We want to remove the green check mark next to, Search removable media (floppy, CD-ROM...). Click the green check mark once & it will go away. Click the Browse button. Another window will open. (Browse for the folder you created on you're desktop).
Open that folder. Left click once on the new yellow folder named LAN_allOS_13.0.1_PV_Intel_165622 so it is high lighted, than click ok. Windows should correctly install the Nic driver. Restart you're system when finished. That's it!

Good luck!
Mike

The Intel D915GAG motherboard error code 108 means that you have a failed hard drive. I replaced RAM first, but that was NOT the fix. my old hard drive was making a ticking noise that I didn't hear in our noisy server room. I simply replaced the hard drive with another one and it's working error free now.

Error code 10 on my intel mobo when I check the multimedia audio controller..

Error Code 10 problems are caused by incompatibility, corrupted or outdated device drivers.
Make sure that you have the latest & correct drivers installed.

Since you have not mention what model is your MOBO & what OS is on your system?
Your best options is to search & download the drivers for your Intel MOBO at the http://downloadcenter.intel.com/

Hope it helps.

Depending on what operating system you are trying to find network card drivers for, this site should provide you the drivers needed.

http://www.intel.com/support/network/sb/cs-006103.htm

Make sure to download the drivers appropriate for your operating system (i.e. Windows 200, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7)

Good Luck! Thanks for using FixYa!

On a Gateway GT5028 - appears the ethernet card was damaged by power surge. We installed a new 10/100 NIC card but Gateway reports it has a problem. Any ideas? Do I need to disable the onboard NIC card...

No you do not need to disable the onboard Network Interface Card. I would suggest to first start by inserting the new NIC card in a dif. Spot.
If you do not have any other spots to insert it, i would double check to make sure you have the correct driver for the correct operating system that you are running, If you know the model # of your nic card i could gladly get you the correct driver. Let me know if this helps. Thanks

HP a350n code 10 error Nvidia MX440 Video adapter.

First you MUST install Service Pack Two. That "device cannot start", it simply means that the "Drivers" will NOT load... but this is really of NO consequence, IF the "Generic" Windows Drivers work, then this is just as good, and in some case better than any other driver, PLUS they WORK. Have you downloaded the latest NVIDIA Drivers? Also you may have to install the entire Drivers Package and not just the "Drivers" alone. That NVIDIA card is an "Older" card, you may indeed be better off with a new more modern card, now NVIDIA, is OK, but I personally like ATI better.

THERE IS AN ERROR WHEN I START MY COMPUTER, IT TELLS ME PXE-E63 ERROR WHILE INITIALIZING THE NIC, PXE-MOF EXTITING INTEL PXE ROM, AND ADISK READ ERROR OCCURRED, HOW CAN I FIX IT

Try to enter your BIOS and on the last page, reset your configuration to default.
F-10 to save and try it.
PS have all external devices disconnected before making these changes.
It looks like you nic card or netwk boot rom is trying to load.
And also, if you do not have a A drive or floppy drive installed, disable it in the BIOS as well.
Remember to save when you exit.
Hope this info has helped you.

Realtek RTL8187B wireless NIC hangs after a few hours

The computer needs a new NIC. If you don't want hangs and lags. Buy a new one. You can still use that NIC but with the less load of course. The NIC maybe old and when electronics ages, the performance downgrade can be seen.

LAN automatically disconnects while downloading and starts working only after disabling and again enabling the local area connection

With this issue it could be the Hardware / Software compatibility. The first thing to do is ensure the latest drivers are installed or the NIC. If the latest drivers are installed I would recommend replacing the NIC. They are less than $30 and they come with great drivers, and if the old NIC is onboard it would be advantageous to get it off the Motherboard. It would be best to open up the computer before you run out to get the new NIC and makesure the motherboard can support a PCI card. This card slips into the White slot that is about 3 inches long. If you have a White slot that is about 1 inch long this PCI card will not fit into it the card you will need is a PCI Express x1 NIC. The rest of the information you will need is provided by the NIC Manufacturer.
