I have the same problem as above. I've installed every driver that I can find including the one above and still no workie? I'm down to re-installing motherboard drivers and firmware but that doesn't seem to be working working either. Funny thing the wireless card also on the motherboard works. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The Intel Nic driver did not install correctly. Click on the link below to download the Nic driver. Create a new folder on you're desktop & give it a name. Save the Nic driver into that folder.
Number 4. Under Drivers. LAN: Intel® PRO Network Connections Driver. File name: LAN_allOS_13.0.1_PV_Intel_165622.exe. Run the .exe from within the folder.
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=2377&OSFullName=Windows*+XP+Professional&lang=eng&strOSs=44&submit=Go%21
Re-install the driver. If windows still fails to install correctly than install through device manager. Click on the start button, slide up to & open control panel. Open the System icon. Click the hardware tab, than click on the device manager button. Find the yellow ! point for the nic driver. Right click once on the ! point, than slide up to & left click update driver. Windows hardware wizard will open. Click No, not at this time. Than click the next button. Another window will open. Left click once in the circle next to, Install from a list or specific location (Advanced). Than click the next button. Again, another window will open. We want to remove the green check mark next to, Search removable media (floppy, CD-ROM...). Click the green check mark once & it will go away. Click the Browse button. Another window will open. (Browse for the folder you created on you're desktop).
Open that folder. Left click once on the new yellow folder named LAN_allOS_13.0.1_PV_Intel_165622 so it is high lighted, than click ok. Windows should correctly install the Nic driver. Restart you're system when finished. That's it!

Good luck!
Mike

The Intel D915GAG motherboard error code 108 means that you have a failed hard drive. I replaced RAM first, but that was NOT the fix. my old hard drive was making a ticking noise that I didn't hear in our noisy server room. I simply replaced the hard drive with another one and it's working error free now.

This is my problem This device cannot start. (Code 10)

A Code 10 error is generated when Device Manager can't start the device, a situation usually caused by outdated or corrupted drivers.
A device may also receive a Code 10 error if a driver generates an error that Device Manager doesn't understand. In other words, a Code 10 error can sometimes be a very generic message indicating some kind of unspecified driver or hardware problem.

The driver can be found here:

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/

By running the update utility.

Or entering the mainboard number ( to find the right driver )
And select your windows system.

Visit also the pc`s manufactures page.

Here is some software, to find info about the mainboard:

Good luck

LAN automatically disconnects while downloading and starts working only after disabling and again enabling the local area connection

With this issue it could be the Hardware / Software compatibility. The first thing to do is ensure the latest drivers are installed or the NIC. If the latest drivers are installed I would recommend replacing the NIC. They are less than $30 and they come with great drivers, and if the old NIC is onboard it would be advantageous to get it off the Motherboard. It would be best to open up the computer before you run out to get the new NIC and makesure the motherboard can support a PCI card. This card slips into the White slot that is about 3 inches long. If you have a White slot that is about 1 inch long this PCI card will not fit into it the card you will need is a PCI Express x1 NIC. The rest of the information you will need is provided by the NIC Manufacturer.

After reinstall of XP cant I get a network driver anywhere

The only other things I can recommend is an online system driver scan that will detect the ID's on the unknown network controller and tell you which driver to download. The only problem with this is that you would need to install another NIC to do this unless you arleady have one.

Here is a good one that I've used in the past:

www.driveragent.com

It costs $29.95 and you can install the agent on up to 10 computers.

The better alternative is to just purcahe another network card. I would go with an Intel Gigabit NIC. You can check out your options on CDW's website. Intel GB NIC's run anywhere from $35-50.

Sorry I couldn't help you locate the integrated network controller driver. I couldn't really find information on the Soltek board.

Perhaps one of the other options above will work for you.

Slow Fram Rate

Intel D101ggc are third party designed mobos .Performance drops severely during graphics processing and all these boards do not provide 100 mbps transfer rates thru the NIC port .Using a better add-on NIC from 3com etc., might improve this .
