You will need to go to control panel then to printers then remove the printer from the system. Also from the start menu go to the search menu and in the files and folders box type in your printer ,scan for all related applications and files, When they are all on the screen click once on the first item then hold the "ctrl" key down and press the "" key this will highlight all of the files still remaining once they are highlighted right click on the first one again and delete the remaining files. if they do not delete or a warning comes up stating that the file can not be removed go to each one of the files, right click on them individually and delete them or as many as you can. then reinstall your software according to the manufacturers directions. Be macho blessed... Mark

Hp c6180 won't print from 4x6 photo paper tray

If you put regular paper in the tray as it is asking does the printer use the regular paper to print the picture? If so, be sure the 4x6 photo paper tray (with photo paper) is pushed all the way in, and when you select print there should be an option (probably hidden in a submenu) to select the photo tray as the paper source. If you are printing from Adobe Acrobat, I have not found a reliable way to get the c6180 to use the photo paper tray. I hope this helps.

My printer prints blurrey out of focus pictures. I download from my camera and print a few on photogaph paper. This happened once before and for reasons that evade me it cleared up and printed fine. ...

Before replacing this awesome printer try this steps first.

First check the paper you're using, load the paper with the printing side down.

In the program being used for printing, click File , and then click Print .

Make sure the appropriate printer is selected, and then click Preferences or Properties.

Click the Printing Shortcuts tab. Consider modifying some or all of the options in the Printing Shortcuts menu to increase print quality.

Print quality : If the quality of the printouts is not acceptable, try increasing the print quality. To print more quickly, try decreasing the print quality.

Paper type : If one of the options matches the paper type exactly, select it instead of Automatic .

Paper size : Make sure that this option matches the paper loaded in the product.

Make sure that the image file has enough resolution for the size of the printed picture. Although many photo applications can enlarge an image or part of an image to any size, eventually the individual pixels become visible and the whole image looks blurry.

Step two: Change print settings
  1. Type the number of copies to print in the Copies text box.
  2. If you want to print multiple copies, select the Collated check box to print the pages of each copy in order.
  3. Select the pages of the print job that you want to print. To print all pages, select All. To print a specific range of pages only, type the page number that begins the page range in the From text box. Then, type the page number that ends the page range in the To text box.

Out of paper error

The paper settings in the print driver must match what is loaded in the product. NOTE: These changes do not change the default print settings. The print settings return to default the next time the program opens.
  1. Open the document that you were trying to print when the issue occurred.
  2. Click File , and then click Print . The Print dialog box opens.
  3. Click the button that opens the Properties dialog box. Depending on the software program, the button might be Properties , Options , Printer Setup , Printer , or Preferences .
  4. Click the tab that provides paper type and size settings. The tab might be Features or Paper/Quality .
  5. From the Size is drop-down menu, select the paper size that matches the paper in the tray.
  6. From the Type is drop-down menu, select the paper type that matches the paper in the tray.
  7. Click OK , and then click OK again to print the document.

The printer says Load MP feeder B5. how can I fix this.

Several options here:

1st - cancel any documents in the print queue. and print off a report of some kind via the menu button on the machine. if that prints correctly then it either a software/ print driver setting issue.

2nd - If that prints out correctly open up a text pad/ notepad and attempt to print that if the message pops up it's very possible the paper handling has been miss-configured within the print driver.
Now if the document does print out fine, the original document you were attempting to print is set to a B5 paper size. If that's the case pending on what program you are using you will have to change the paper size to you choice of paper your using.

3rd - open up the paper tray and confirm it's set to letter or legal pending what type of paper you have in the tray(not the manual feed tray). I highly doubt it's the tray however as B5 setting would not allow any type of normal paper to be loaded.

4th - on the machine hit the menu button -> paper menu -> confirm that the paper type/ size and source are configured correctly.

The unit function to print but there is no print out in the bond paper.

Try to run test print from menu tab of the printer if it’s print normally then the problem is in the computer printer settings, review color quality under advance tab and look for black label option to check if not disabled.
