Problem for Samsung DVD-HR720 DVD Recorder
Samsung DVD-HR725 DVD Recorder 160GB
After I switch on the Samsung recorder-> DVD is blinking, HDD is on, display is showing "load" and nothing happens afterwards. It would be great to get some ideas how to solve this. Many thanks in advance.

- I cannot play any of the CDs that I have copied on other machines.I have been told that cheaper machuines will play any disc.

The main processor card is not running. There is a small controller card for the display that starts correctly and wait the signal from the main processor. This signal never comes.The solution is simple: replace the cpu board! :-(

I have other problem but I know how to solve the 'load' problem. Just hold on to power on button for 4-10 seconds, the player will turn off and reset itself. Mostly this will solve the problem. Problem most likely due to incompatible disc or the menu selection jump to quickly. Hope this help.

Same problem here, stuck at load when I turn it on. Won't open either, just says 'open' on the display but doesn't do anything.
Kinda weird that the player responds to the remote control, but won't do anything else :)
Tried pulling plug but didn't help, alas.

I moved the Recorder from one TV to another and now it will not move beyond the 'load' stage. Nothing works.
