Re: Good quality photos
In the quality option... select 2040x1356 (the A4 print).
I myself also have a casio camera and i take all my pictures at the highest availible quality. While this is not the size u want to email pics at... You can always reduce the file size on your computer, but you can never add quality. While it may take more space on my mem card it is worth it, it is like the old saying about dressing warmly... you can always peel layers off....

This can be caused by these things:
1. Bad Camera settings. Make sure to set picture quality to highest and set your flash correctly while
take pictures ( or just set it in auto).
2. Bad The printer. Have you use good printer? I suggest you to use printer with capability up to 4800
dot per inch (dpi)
3. Bad ink and paper. You should use good quality ink and photo paper.
Hi, Best way is top set it on auto mode and keep cam steady while taking photo... Other options are increase ISO, aperture and EV level bit increasing ISO will reduce quality of picture so try to set ISO till 400, And I will advised you to never go beyond 800... Or increase the amount of light in the room... Hope this has helped you,,, thanks...
I would still take them at a high resolution. That way if you would want to make prints they would be of good quality.
If you want to email them the best thing to do is to download them and then open the pictures you want to email with whatever editing program you have and use the resize options. If you resize them to around 400 X 600 or even 600 X 800 pixels they should be a good size to email. Once you resize them use the Save as... menu option to put a suffix on it.
For example, if you had a picture named Image_0001. Open it at full size. Resize it. Then select Save as... and name it Image_001_small or Image_001_email. That leaves the original intact and now allows you to attach the smaller one to an email that is a nice size.
Hey there kbbate, if you use REC Mode you can choose the Recorded Pixels, and the Quality Level. 6m is the best available setting for the recorded pixels, and the quality level is default set to best, however you should check to ensure it's settings. Note: you cannot select Recorded pixels if the Quality level is set to Raw. Also Raw (3000x2008raw,3000x2000jpeg) would techniquely be the best setting for your purpose. You will just have to do the tweaking on the computer, rather than have the camera sort it out for you. Good Luck!
I'm guessing, cause i own a F505 and not a FD73......but, I dont even see a use for the F505 "standard" quality setting. It will stay on "FINE" quality always.
I've got a HP 882c and it prints just fine. I use HP premium photo paper and the printer setting BEST. Are you using photo paper? Regular paper will bleed the colors around.
Take some pictures on FINE and print them out on photo paper w/ printer BEST and compare.
