It's been half an hour already since I plugged this to the charger and nothing seems to be happening. Any help? or should I just chuck this in the bin? BRAND NEW, first day to use!!!
Chuck it - the software designed for use with this player was discontinued in Oct 2007/ You can go to www.usasupport.philips.com to get their version of the cancelled musicmatch svc, but it still won't work most likely. This player is completely obsolete. For grins,
Try this: disconnect the player from the
computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to
the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume +
button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into
recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found
New Hardware Wizard.
