Top loading washer leaking water during spin cycle

a few things could be causing this
(1) a hole has rusted thru your outer drum or maybe a dispenser line has come off inside
(2) some left over from a past wash cycle has gotten into the seal in the center agitator bearing and made it leak
(3) the dishcharge water pump has a leak in it

all these things can be routed out with just a strong flashlite and a little time to watch where water runs from during a cycle

I own a zanuusi zwd1680w. washer dryer. The problem is when set to drain or if required to drain during a cycle it goes through the motions and hangsup, the water does seem to drain out quite quickly and...

Hi you dont mention any error codes if there problems with draining e20 is displayed any blockage in the pump or drain passage can cause this . however you suggest the draining is ok so this is more likley to be a fault in the water level control. an easy fix would be if you found a blockage in the pressure chamber at the base of 2 x 8mm tubes(from pressure switches) located near the sump hose at the bottam of the drum. undissolved detergent is normally the culprit.jw

During the fill cycle, the washer leaks water?

I've repaired leaks from bad rubber washers on the fill hoses as well as loose hose clamps on the back of the fill solenoids that run into the tub. Check closely.

Water leaked from bottom of washer

Check the pump right where the motor shaft goes into it. The pump seal can leak right there and the water drips directly onto the floor. It will continue to run out after the cycle till the remaining water drains out of the tub and drain hose.

Water Leaking From Calypso, Won't Drain Completely

the bag type device is an overflow and should never have "water"in it, but it will get suds if you are using the wrong type of soap.
you need to use "HE" soap as it is a non-sudsing soap and thats why you are getting suds leaking from your unit.
just run the rinse and spin cycle until the suds are gone. then use the right type of soap and it will work properly with no leaks.

Admiral Leaking

Possibly rinsing with cold water, washing with hot.
Check inlet valves for leaks, especially cold (rinse)
Lift the top panel by inserting a flat blade approx 4" from each side at the front to release clips, then top will hinge backwards.
You can see the valves at the rear behind the drum..
You can run the machine with top lifted to see any more leaks.
Also remove front panel via 2 small screws to gain better view.

Fixn my GE washer spin cycle

It sounds like it could be the lid switch, check to make sure the lid switch is clicking when you close the lid.

Only use HE detergent.

Problem stopped after this
