    Hi,

The disc I can't help with as you will need to contact Acer to get a replacement one but there will be a charge, anyway I thought Acer had recovery partitions on the HDD.

Bluetooth: Are you using a built in bluetooth device or a bluetooth USB dongle?

    Cheers

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I cat recover my bluetooth device on my laptop acer aspire 1640

I suggest that you download and install the latest version of the Bluetooth support software from the Acer web site.
First go to the Acer support web site:
http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers
Once you arrive at the site, select "Notebook" for Product Family. Select "Aspire" for the Product Line Select "Aspire 1640Z" from the Produce Model list Below these selection, you can choose the version of Windows XP that you are using. Once this choice has been made, you will see a list of drivers available. Find the Bluetooth driver software, download it, and install it.
Hopefully this will resolve your Bluetooth problem.

You don't get a CD with the Acer 5720, that I do know. ALT&F10 will restore to factory settings, as long as you know the administrator password!

Hi, I'm wanting to install a bluetooth module into my Acer Aspire 1640 Laptop and would like to know if I can find any info or manual on the internet for me to make referance too.

well first, you will have to have a third party device such as a USB to Bluetooth transceiver, or other external device that provides Bluetooth capabilities. since the Aspire 1640 models that ship in the US and Canada do not ship with a Bluetooth module on the motherboard.
you would also need the drivers for the bluetooth which you can get here: acerdrivers
