It's an encryption feature that "scrambles" (for lack of a better word), your phone conversation "more" (once again, for lack of a better work), providing more security from people trying to tap into you calls and decode them. (which I always thought was next to impossible on a spread spectrum transmission....)

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Canon mx 410 fax answers voice calls

I have an MX870 with the same problem - fax picks up during a voice call and I can no longer hear the caller. As with everyone else, the problem is intermittent and not replicable.
I have tried tel priority mode and fax priority mode (from the phone/paper submenu under physical Fax button) and all the various RX receive setting under Fax Settings submenu of the physical Settings button.
But I have a new possible solution. I only use the fax for outgoing -- for some time now I have been using K7.net for incoming faxes which delivers faxes to my email. That way I have a dedicated fax number, never miss an incoming fax while on the phone, and I have all faxes in electronic form as well.
So, my new idea was to set the MX870 to DRPD (distinctive ring pattern) receive mode (from the phone/paper submenu under physical Fax button). Since my phone service through Xfinity/Comcast does not offer DRPD, I am hoping that the MX870 will NEVER pick up a fax.
I will keep you posted as to whether this works.

Hi I have a samsung captivate and it's half in Chinese and half in English and it dose not have text to swype or voice activation why

if you just got the phone you can do a quick master reset which will reset EVERYTHING on your phone to the factory settings but if you just got it that shouldnt be to much of a problem but that should solve your problem. A master reset is located in the setting menu under privacy settings

I could hear them but they cant hear me..

This could be due to a phone setting.
You probably have the phone or the blue tooth in the "mute mode"
check you instruction manual or the phone settings to see if you have it voice muted for privacy.

Hard to hear others talking...

go into menu, tools, call settings, look through all that you have turned off or on in there, also check your earpiece volume, you'll find that in sound settings, having voice privacy will not affect the volume of your call
