I'd guess it's using the built-in memory ONLY, and ignoring your memory card... Make sure the card you're using is fully supported by your camera model and that it's not on Locked mode!

My Olympus c-740 tells me there are no photos, although the memory is full. It says it is full in the camera and in the computer. I need the photos, no the memory. Thanks!

There is memory built into the camera and additional memory card! Depends how the camera is set to save the photos either to the smaller built in memory or the larger memory card!

I can only take 1 picture then it tells me the internal memory is full

You need a separate memory card. Take it to any camera dealer and they will advise you.

Why does it keep saying memory full after I have only taken 6 pictures

You need to go to the store and buy Samsung S730 A-DATA 4GB SDHC Memory Card (Class 4)
It is worth about 8-20$. The memory card is used to save pictures. Here is an example: http://www.cellularfactory.com/camera/SAMSUNG/3/46100/

I've had the Samsung L200 with the same Panasonic 1GB memory card for the last 3 years and it's been great, but all of a sudden today it started saying 'memory full' after only taking a few...

The camera is telling you that the internal memory is full. To get your card to work, you must clear it. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Then, your card should work unless you formatted it in the computer, in which case you'll have to format (completely erases it) it in the camera.

When I turn on camera to take picture, it says memory full. How do I clear this?

tego34:

From the user manual for this camera (click here) page 247, it says "Memory is full. If you want to record more files, delete files that you no longer need" and references page 161 in the same manual.

On page 161, it gives you the directions for deleting un-needed files (pictures).

I would suggest transferring all of your pictures to a computer using Picasa and deleting the pictures that you've taken from the camera.

If you're using the memory that is built-in to the camera, it is much too small to hold many pictures. You should buy a 2GB SD card that meets the specifications in the user manual page 180.

I have just gotten it and it says memory is full How can that be? Can I clear the mamory? I haven't taken many pictures.

just had someone tell me to take the memory card out, turn on your computer, delete the pictures on your internal memory and then put your memory card back in. Make sure you know where your pictures are stored in your computer before you delete something you may want.

Built in memory full, cannot take pictures, for panasonic DMC-TZ3

you may have to manualy delete each picture... on another not, the internal memory on the camera isn't meant to hold many pictures- i think 3 at the highest setting and maybe 9 at the lowest setting. you should buy a sd/ memory card, they are fairly cheap, and they will hold between 200 and 5000 pictures, depending on the size you buy and the setting you have your camera set on.

My EX-Z60 reads MEMORY FULL i've only taken 3 pics

I would think that you are using the built-in camera memory, by default it will allow 3 pics.
You need to go to the menu, choose setup and on the 3rd page is Format. Format your memory card

Memory card full

Get a bigger memory card. (Capacity wise) 8MB won't let you hold hardly any pictures. Get something with like 512MB- 1G.
