Bicor vx1005 ...thread keeps bunching

When I try to sew the thread keeps bunching up on the bottom of the fabric. I've also, had a problem with the thread breaking. Underneath Bobbin Thread keeps bunching. I tried adjusting tension, but it is not helping.

When I try to sew something the thread bunches on the bottom and there is TONS of thread collected there when I move the fabric away from the machine. The thread often breaks and the bobbin sticks. I talked to a sewing shop and they said it may be a timing problem.

Try a different bobbin. Look for one that is a little narrower. I had the same problem and changing to a narrower bobbin fixed it.

Try loosening your tension. For almost all of my projects, Mostly fleece because it's for Sugar Gliders, I have my stuff set to thread length 1 - 2 and my tension at 4 - 6. Granted, mine is a singer tradition. All I can Say is try it, what's there to lose? LoL!!!!

Start to sew and it doest stitch & fabric gets bunched up on the right looper

I take it this is a serger from the fact you have a looper. Try changing which looper thread is on top when you thread it. Mine jams if they're not done just right. BTW, the easiest way to thread a serger once you've got it once is to tie the new thread to the old and pull it through.

Hope this helps.

Difficulty threading bobbin- thread bunches under fabric. vx1005

I would suggest to check the needle to see if it's damaged
also check to make sure the machine is threaded correctly,,that the thread is in every thread guide
also some sewing machine have a problem with the top thread coming off the thread take up lever
also I would check the bobbin area for lint or any loose threads
also check the top thread tension to see if it's set correctly
also the hook race cover & hook need to be taken out & cleaned & then put back in
some machine have had problems with the hook getting grooves worn into them & need to be fixed or replaced

The tension is off ?? bottom thread bunches

Sounds like it could be! Probably worth trying to readjust it. Are you using a fine fabric too? That can cause bunching.

How do you thread bobbin for Bicor VX1005?

Look through these threading guides for a Brother that has the same features. http://www.sewusa.com/Sewing_Machine_Threading_Diagrams.htm

The above site has a manual, but I not a threading guide. Unless it is the same as another model.

Thread bunching underneath fabric on Bicor VX1005 mahine.

The impulse is to blame the bobbin, because that's where the thread bunches. But the problem is probably with the top thread tension. The tension is too loose, allowing the bobbin to help itself to all the thread it wants. Retrace the path of the thread from spool to needle and see if you missed anything. The instructions in my VX1005 manual are not clear. I had to try a couple of paths before I got it right. Make sure the spring in the tension disk setup is moving freely. You should feel a fair amount of resistance when you pull on the needle thread. Hope this helps.
