Question about Dewalt D55146 Heavy Duty 412Gallon 200PSI Heavy Duty Hand Carry Compressor with Wheels
If your motor works fine and you don't get any pressure buildup your problem is likely one of two areas. Under the head is a valve plate assembly (PN-A09819) that may have one or more broken reed valves. If the reeds are OK check the wiper on the piston. Sometimes a piece will break off of it or it may have come out of the groove on the piston. This part can only be bought as a connecting rod/piston assembly (PN-N038785)
