White lines when we turn the unit on - LG Z37LC6D 37 in. HDTV LCD TV

white lines\bands are usually due to dirty PH unit windows. Have you cleaned the PH units ?

unplug the unit and let it sit for about 15 minutes then plug it back in. it should reset and turn back on.
How long have you had this unit ?

I have similar issues with my Samsung TV model LN55A950... all I did was take the back cover off...unplugged the two wide ribbon cables of the panel from the T-Con board, then turned it on...I waited for a minute until everything normalized. at first, all i see were similar lines...horizontal pin stripes on white background...white background because the panel is not connected to any image source. Then all lines are gone, after the 'normalization." you should only see white all through out. I then turned the unit off...connected the two cables back, turned it back on...voila! my TV is back to normal viewing, no more lines!!!

Look at your black development unit, if you see a white band on the development roller, remove the development unit, shake it and turn the gear of the development roller ...

Just boot to BIOS (either by pressing Del, F2, F10 (depends on the laptop brand).. upon turning on the unit). If the white lines appear, your problem is with the LCD screen.

If no white line in BIOS, install an updated driver of your video card. However, if installing the driver doesn't help, your video card is faulty.

FAULT: If lines are flickering with black and white and there is no data in line its mean the DLP unit is faulty.
SOLUTION: the only solution is this that you replace the DLP unit the DLP unit is electroniccomponent and not a repairable (as show in picture)

You need to resolder the video IC processor they are one smd device

Hey dont open the LCD in a hurry......the problem may be due 2 usage of LCD 4 long time better dont on the pc for a day........or in night time keep it under the fan.......this may give a better result........

Use a scart lead to connect it to the TV, that should cure it.

Which color is this line? Try changing respective cartridge..
