Question about HP Pavilion dv1000 Notebook
After following the HP troubleshooting directions, I was able to get my laptop to boot up. The computer worked over an hour then suddenly shut off. I have since been unable to get the computer to boot up. I have reseated the ram, changed the ac adapter, nothing. Any suggestions?
Thanks for your input.
No power no boot can be indicative of a motherboard failure or could also be the memory. try removing all the memories, hard drive, the optical drives and all external devices connected to your computer. if you get to hear a beeping sound .. your in luck your motherboard is alive and just need to isolate which among the remaining pieces is causing the no power.
