First tell me, how did you connect the laptop to the television what connection did you use? did you use VGA or Svideo?

Heres a video on how to enable the 2nd monitor or svideo to get picture to the tv, ones you have set it to the right channel. Depends on what you connected it to?

Look for a button on the remote or the TV itself labeled Source or Input. This should let you change the input between TV, AV, HDMI (on some TVs), and PC. Just press the button repeatedly or use the up/down arrows.

Before setting the input to PC (VGA), turn off the TV and the computer. Then connect the VGA cable (M-M) and the audio cable (a 3.5 mm M/M cable, if you plan to use the TV speakers) between the two units. Next turn on the TV and set the input to VGA. Then turn on the computer. (This is if you are using the VGA or D Sub 15 connection.) For a desktop, if you do not have another monitor connected, the TV should automatically be detected and the resolution set with any Windows OS (XP and later). However, you may need to reset the resolution and the refresh rate. For Windows 7, right click on the display and choose Screen Resolution.

For a laptop, you may need to enable the video port in the BIOS. Accessing this depends on the manufacturer of the computer motherboard. (Often Esc, F1 or F2 is the key to press after turning on the computer but before the OS loads. This can be tricky to time correctly.)

With a laptop or a desktop with another monitor attached, you will need to tell the computer how to deal with the multiple monitors. (Extend, monitor 1 only (or laptop internal monitor), monitor 2 only (external monitor), or dual display.) For my HP laptop with Win7, I choose Graphics Properties instead of Screen Resolution. There may be a keyboard Fn shortcut to access this.

Some TVs will accept a PC signal on the HDMI port (directly from an HDMI port on the computer or via a DVI to HDMI cable). Not all TVs do this. (Without the model for your TV, I can't confirm if this will work. If it doesn't, it is because of the differences between the PC output signal and that of set top boxes (cable or blu-ray players).

they have 2 ways to active the GPRS setting
1st click your sim card then click the GPRS on then they send you a configuration access all you have to do is to save it. 2nd you call your network operator then if you call the operator and talk about your concern about they havent send you a configuration. they will tell you manually your configuration access and do it to your phone manually .

I suspect that the TV can't read the signal from the computer on the HDMI port. You would get a signal from a VGA connection. (Computers send a slightly different signal over HDMI than a DVD or blu-ray player.)

In general, when connecting a TV to a computer, turn off both devices before connecting the video cables. Then turn on the TV and set it to the source (with the no signal message). Then turn on the computer. Next set the computer to output the video on the external video port. (Depending on the laptop, you may need to enable the port in the BIOS. To access the BIOS, press Esc, F1, F2 or F10 repeatedly as you turn on the computer. The key depends on the brand of computer.) Next set the video output in the OS (depends on the OS). For Windows 7, right click on the desktop (anywhere there are no icons or running programs), select Graphics Properties and set the desired monitor choice (laptop monitor, external monitor, both or extended). Click Apply and then confirm this when the display changes. (At least this works for my HP laptop on the VGA port.; my desktop lets me change monitors under Screen Resolution.)

there are some tv (sony) that you can get video and audio out from the tv and then is simple task to record what is in the tv. But maybe you don't have that option.

the second idea is this:
Think in the signal that comes from the box as a river and you need to divide this river (signal) before gets to the tv, so feeding the signal to the tv and the set you use to record then you have the option to record and watch the tv as regular; only task to do now is to monitor the recording in the input where you assigned for the dvd recorder. i hope is clear the idea to you!

there are 2 coaxial inputs on the back of your tv. plug the antenna into the digital coax. with your remote, do a fac reset: menu, setup, fac reset, all settings, passcode 3355. after the reset, hit input, select digital tv. perfprm a chan scan: menu, setup, channel scan, antenna. this should solve the problem.

1) Hit [MENU]. Press [CH up / down] to select ?V-CHIP SET UP?, then hit [VOL up]. 2) Enter 4-digit access code with the Number buttons. If you have not set up your personal access code, enter 0000 (default access code).
