Grans spinner does not spin - Hotpoint Supermatic Plus 9404? I am trying help my friends Gran. Her twintub does not spin. The motor runs and drive belt is in one piece but seems to be slipping around the pulley on the bottom of the spin cyclinder. The two sides of the pulley wheel seem to be lose or even separate. I have no idea if the drive mechanism has some sort of clutch which is not gripping. She is 94 and I hope to help her get the machine going, since it is lasting almost as long her.

SOURCE: drive belt out of alignment

check pulley is fully bolted home. also fault could be due to the bearing spider (on the drum) being broken or cracked on one leg. if this was so, would expect spin with clothes to be very noisy. get gack to me if you want. the belt is a stretchy belt ie no adjustment for tightness

SOURCE: replaced belt but it keeps slipping

There is a pivot spring on the side of the motor. It is a large "U" shaped spring. This is the only spring there is on this unit. The motor itself sits on a floating plate. Make sure this plate moves side-to-side. If it doesn't it will need to be broken loose.

SOURCE: HOTPOINT WASHING MACHINE - BELT IS RUBBING AGAINST

if you have gotten that far your good
now try to look at the motor it sounds like your belt might be a lil off track on the mortor shaft
there is a adjustment srew on the top left of the motro its hidden under things but its there
you can looses this and swing the motor
make sure you have it lined up on the motor shaft and it should stay aligned on the pully

Kenmore agitates doenst spin

You will have to look at the inside of the washer when in spin cycle to see what is going on. Is the spinner motor not engaging the drum? Is the spinner working at all? It sounds like the spinner isn't being moved against the drum before the spin cycle starts. Most washers use a seperate spinner motor, which is lifted off the drum by a relay and / or solenoid and if one or more of those is malfunctioning, it will cause your described problem.

LG twintub- water leaking at the spinner onto motor

This is due to failure of the seal on the tub and also if the spindle/bearing seal is also faulty. you need to remove and reset the assembly once again.

My washer quit working in the middle of a load. there is still water and when I try to restart it it just makes a wierd noise. I have turned the spinner and it goes back to where it was before when I try...

Does the noise continue when you try to restart it, or is it only for a second, then nothing? If the noise continues, and it sounds like a running motor, but no drum-spinning action, the drive belt is likely either broken or has come off, in which case the belt-guide assembly/pulley may be loose, broken, bent, etc (small bracket with a small plastic pulley that serves to keep the belt on track).

Need directions for game Princess Friends Forever

Disney Princess friends forever Game
2 to 4 players ages 5 and up
Goal: Collect the most Friend Gems as you and your Princess Friends Forever (PFFs) journey along the enchanted path to the castle

Contents:
1 board; 1 double spinner; 1 castle; 4 Princess movers; 14 Friend or Foe cards; 60 Friend Gems; 4 Gem Boxes

Set up:
Open the gameboard. Pick a princess, sit next to her corner, put her matching Gem Box in front of you and her matching Princess marker on the START space. All players do the same. Cinerella's color = blue, Belle's color = yellow, Ariel's color = green, Tiana's color = purple.
Place the castle in the center. Place the Friend Gems in the top of the castle. Shuffle the Friend or Foe cards and place the deck facedown on the playing area.

Play:
Youngest player goes first. On your turn, spin the spinner. The spinner's outer circle tells you how many spaces to move your Princess ahead on the path.
Collect a Friend Gem - any time you land on a space occupied by another player's mover, celebrate being PFFs by each collecting a Friend Gem from the castle! Put all the gems you collect in your Gem Box.
Note: Never peek at the color gem before choosing. Just reach in with eyes closed and pull out the first gem you touch.

Friend gem Spaces - If you land on a Gem Space (one large red heart), spin the spinner and watch the short end of the spinner arrow. The princess the spinner lands on is your new PFF! Your PFF moves her mover to join you on your space. Take a Friend Gem from the castle and give it to your new PFF and take another for yourself. If the spinner pints to a princess not being played, then only you will collect a Friend Gem. If the spinner points to your Princess, collect two Friend Gems.
Note: If another player is already on the Gem Space when you land on it, you each collect a Friend Gem before spinning the spinner and following the rules above.

Friend of Foe Space - If you land on a Friend or Foe space (Castle picture with words friend or foe), draw a card from the deck. A card picturing a Friend (a helpful character from a Disney Princess movie) will move you forward. Foes (evil characters from a Disney Princess movie) will cause you to lose gems.
Friend: If the card shows a Friend plus a number, move forward on the path the number of spaces shown. Then follow the directions for the space you land on.
Foe: If the card shows a Foe minus a number, give that number of Friend Gems in your Gem Box to any player or split them between several players. You can spin the spinner to help you choose. Note: You may not give a gem to yourself.

Trade Gems Space - If you land on a Trade Gem space (picture of 4 heart gems) this is a chance to trade with another player to get a gem of your own Princess color. If you land on one of these spaces, choose a player to trade with. You must each have at least one gem in your Gem Box to do so. Then do the switch. Give her one from your box that matches her Princess' color; she in turn gives you one that matches your color. If one of you doesn't have a matching gem, that's ok, a non-matching gem can be traded.

Winning the game - When a player reaches the FINISH space the game is over. This player gets three Friend Gems for reaching the castle first. Everyone counts their Friend Gems. Whoever has the most is the first place winner! Remaining players then count their gems that match their Princess color. Whoever has the most is the second place winner!
