Question about Dell Axim X51v Pocket PC

Right ou of the box, my x51v does not charge

Just go a new (maybe refurbished) x51v and right out of the box, it does not charge. Plugging it to the wall makes the power button flash amber ONCE, but that is it. The device recognizes that it is plugged since the brightness goes and stays up, but the battery simply keeps draining...

Return the unit for warranty service. There is nothing in it that you would be able to fix yourself.

My turn signal quit blinking, both left and right sites. Outside signal lights do not blink either. All other lights seem to working fine. Could someone give me a clue as to where to start looking...

Its probably just the blinker relay thingy. It maybe a small squat cylinder looking thing with 3 connector prongs sticking out the bottom of it. Newer ones maybe a plastic box affair, 2-3 inches long. If your lucky it is right in the fuse box. Your owners manual should tell ou where to find it, look for Flasher Relay. Look for a silver metal cylinder about one and half inches long. It may also be anywhere under the dash and just pull it out of the plug its in and get a replacement for 3 - 4 bucks. Take the flasher with you to the auto parts store and match it up with the new unit to make sure you are getting an identical replacement. Plug the new flasher in the electrical connector or fuse panel.

Hope I helped.

I'm having trouble trying to change my password for my facebook page.Could i please get some assistance?

Good evening terinareedy,

If ou have logged into Facebook successfully, this is what you need to do tho change the password to a new one:-

On your Home page, the one that opens when you're logged in, find the "Account" tab, over on the right, at the top. Click on that, and a menu drops down, select "Account settings", and the page refreshes to a new one titled "My Account". The first tab "Settings" should be open (in blue). Look down the list for "Password", which is aboce a blue line, follow that line to the right, and it says "change" click on that, and it will open a new instruction area, listing warning advice about changing your password, followed by boxes asking for your old password, a new password, and a confirmation of the new password. Fill in the boxes, and click on "change password". That should sort your problem out.

How do i charge it?

You do have re-chargeable batteries in it? You could try a new set of batteries and there's usually a "Connect button you can press to reconnect it after installing new batteries.

More economical would be tp use a Pcimia (is that the right set of initials) card if your computer has this slot.

My Motorola V3c will fully charge the battery in about 15 minutes. But the charge lasts maybe 3-4 hours. It is a new phone.

Moto Razr components where taken off the assembly line years ago and all parts used are refurbished or stockpiled.........you have a bad battery, case closed........the razr has a few common flaws...... ear piece, LCD, and battery tends to go out without notice and on a rare occasion wont work right out of the box.....Working at Sprint PCS I saw 1 out of every 15 Razrs have problems straight from the box....take the phone back to the staore and they will giv you a new battery as they should be away of the hiccups associated with this device!!!! :D and by the way, 3-4 hrs use from a 15 min charge is awesome.......just your battery has an internal flaw that is causing it to transfer too much power.....(i.e. thats how it is able to charge so fast, but also why it dies so fast) if you have another razr laying around try that battery as long as the lettering on the battery is the same....fr example : a battery with the code bt50 and br50 are not interchangeable.
Good Luck and pls rate this post!!!! :D

Archos not charging

You don't say how old the device/battery is. Does it fail right out of the box new? This behavior can be common with an older failing battery. If this occurs in a new device then it is faulty and needs be sent back on warranty.

I have a dell axim x51v, I does not stay operational

seems to be some problem with the battery itself. Try charging it fully and then check. Does the battery dip when the phone turns off?
