With out looking at it it sounds like the rollers have gone bad i believe you gain access from the rear of the unit to look at the rollers but you can remove the to by removing the 2 screws on the rear of the top and then pushing back and up on it turn the dryer on and look and see how round the tub is.if tub looks fine then stop dryer and turn drum in the direction it turned when it was running until you see where the factory welded it and see if the weld is broke or has a high spot.if these look good then the rollers are bad and you will have to remove the front by taking control panel off and the screws holding the front take note on how it comes apart because you have to put it back together.

There is a felt seal attached to inside of front panel on dryer. The drum sits and rolls on this. It has fallen off and now the drum rubs on front panel making very loud noises.

You need the make and model of the dryer. From that you can get the felt part number.

Here is a link to a site that sell these parts;
Dryer Felt Seal

Also, if the dryer is old, I suggest that you look at replacing the drum support wheels. The bearing wear out and make noise.

Extremely screeching noise when running?

Screeching is the metal-on-metal contact of the drum touching the rear of the unit while
turning - there's a (usually) felt cover gasket over the circular depression at the back of the dryer.
When this wears through (after a number of years/loads), you get the screeching of
metal-to-metal contact.
Problem: friction can heat up the metal so much that the remaining felt gasket material (and/or
accumulated lint or clothing) catches fire.
Fix: replace felt drum gasket.
The Maytag Atlantis MDE6400AY electric dryer has a DuraCushion(tm) dryer drum, so I'm
suspecting the "DuraCushion" has worn out at least at one point in its 360-degree arc.

Dryer is leaving brown marks on clothes. it is either a burn mark or they are getting caught between dryer drum and shell, not the door

I had the same problem. Unfortunately, it is caused by a rusting drum edges, if you can believe it. My dryer was only 6 years old when this problem occured. There are felt gaskets on the front and back of the drums where it contacts and rotates on the frame of the dryer. You can take a white cloth and run it around the rim of the front and back of the drum and I suspect you will end up with some discoloration on the cloth. I had these felt gaskets replaced, but that is only a temp solution. When the drum is taken out and the old felt gaskets are removed, you can clean the edges of the drum and get a lot of rust/brown off the drum. New gaskets are only a temp fix. I did it about 1 1/2 yr ago, and I think the problem is starting again. Probably time for a new dryer or time to pull the drum and clean it. New drum probably cost prohibitive if you can get one. What a bunch of **** for a 7 1/2 old dryer. Next dryer will have a stainless steel drum. Hope this explanation helps you with your problem.

Clothes getting stuck in front of dryer the model wasn't listed below mode is LDE8404ACE

If your clothes are getting stuck in the front of the dryer, it could mean more than one thing.
Your front felt seal is faulty, broken, or out of position.
After years of use, the front felt seal on the dryers break down, come loose, or become faulty. It is also sometimes caused by wear in the drum rollers, and this causes the felt seal to become worn.
You will need to replace the front felt seal and possibly the drum rollers.

ALWAYS UNPLUG YOUR DRYER BEFORE STARTING ANY REPAIRS

If you have a front loading machine,

Remove the electrical console that holds the timer switch, start switch, etc. from the top of the dryer.
Be REAL CAREFUL not to knock any of the wires off of the timer switch. Then remove the top of the dryer.
Remove the front of the dryer. This will expose the drum, felt seal and belt. It is a good time to check and replace the felt seal. You could stop there but I recommend that you do the following:
Remove the drum and belt and this will expose the drum rollers, idler arm pulley and motor.
Now is a good time to check the belt condition for wear.
Be sure to note the route of the belt, this will come in handy when you go to reinstall the belt.
Check your drum rollers for flat spots, if they are worn or have flat spots on them replace them.
If the drum rollers don't have flat spots on them and is not worn, then they probably only need lubrication. Lubricate the shaft of the rollers with a good grade of machine oil such as 3 in One oil. Reassemble the dryer, plug back in.
I will include these two websites for parts and further help:

Both also have chat assistance 24/7.
Good Luck,
I hope this helps

Whirlpool Duet dryer - "burn marks", "out of round" drum

It's not really BURN marks - it is the adhesive used to affix the felt. You can substitute for silicone to remedy this problem.

Loud rattling noise, but dries ok

The drum of a dryer is supported b the front and back of the unit, spins on a felt gasket. Noise is coming from rollers or their is something stuck between drum and the felts. The pulley is a piece of springy metal with a plastic wheel on it, could also be worn. If you take off front of dryer, drum will come loose, check to see if something is stuck. Common for loose change to get jambed in felts. Also spin rollers and pulley to see if need to be replaced. I still think something is caught in felt.

Whirlpool duet dryer felt seal replacement

The drum may to be removed to install the new felt gasket but the old drum can then be reinstalled. The felt gasket seals the joint where the drum rotates at the inside back panel. It is likely that the inside back panel can be removed when the dryer is placed front-down and the outside back panel is removed. In that case the drum does not have to come out.

I'm getting burn marks on clothes. Think it's the seal on the back of dryer? Must hang to dry all white clothes, so what's the point o fhaving a dryer?

The gasket between the drum and the back panel may be worn or missing.  I had a similar problem with a 34 year old dryer when the felt gasket wore out and allowed metal-to-metal contact between the drum and the back panel.  The clothes would get pinched between them and make a black "kiss" mark.

FRIGIDAIRE GLEQ2152ES0 DRYER DRUM WILL NOT TURN

You need to check the motor isn't bad which is possible. All of what you have stated is possible. You are going to have to check out each and every one until you find it. But all three can cause it.

Frigidaire crown series dryer

The back of the drum has a hub (a flat steel piece with a shaft and ball) which allows the drum to turn. That ball rides in a plastic "cradle". Unfortunately on the crown series...if the ball and cradle are not greased regularly, the plastic wears. This allows the drum to "sag". The front end of the drum is lower than the back. You can confirm this by running your finger around the front of the drum. You'll notice that the top of the drum is almost flush with the body of the dryer and the bottom of the drum is 3/4 of an inch lower that the the body. This allows clothes to slip into the gap at the bottom and then they are spen to the top pof the drum were the lodge between the body and the top of the drum. The turning drum burns the clothing. Replace the plastic piece that the hub rides in.
