SOURCE: Panasonic CQ C1100U amp output?

Hello,

Yes, the Panasonic CQ-C1100U can be connected to a 2-channel amp. It has a single set of preamp outputs. I'm attaching an image of the connection shown in the Panasonic user manual. The appropriate connection is the one without the dashed line. The dashed line showing a 2nd set of outputs only applies to the 1110, 1120, and 1200 models.

Hope this helps. If it does, please rate as "FixYa". Thanks!

SOURCE: how do i hook up my amp power wire to my panasonic

Your power amp wire (positive (RED) ), should be hooked up directly to your battery....THe ground wire should be anchored to a bolt in your trunk (the short the distance the better), Make sure ground is getting a good bite on metal (no paint etc)....Only thing you should have hooked between your amp and radio is the rcas and your remote wire (blue).

I am trying to hook up an amp to my panasonic cq-c300u but i cant find the remote wire in the back. does it even have one? and if not is there a way to add one?

If your stereo doesn't have an option for amp cut the RCA wire that you're going to use and connect it to the output speaker wires at the back of your stereo. You can also use crossovers.

Trying to wire in a 92 chevy s-10

Buy a wiring kit for your vehicle (available at walmart, autozone, etc) It takes the guess work out of which wire is which coming out of your dash.....Panasonics wiring is standard to that of other cd decks....Red=ignition Yellow=memory or battery Black= ground Blue=remote turnon for amp or antenna, Orange=illumination, Then the green, white, grey & purple wires are speakers (positive and negative).

I HAVE PANASONIC CQ-C700U STEREO PLAYS ON ALL

are you running the rest of your speakers off an amp? if so, it sounds like you have the amp remote wire connected to the power antenna wire. on some radios there is an amp remote wire and a power antenna wire. the power antenna wire loses power when not listening to the tuner (radio). usuall there is a solid blue and a blue with white stripe. the blue with a white stripe should be amp turn on.

If you using external amplifiers with you system;check your remote wires.
You may be using the wrong remote wire to turn you amp on.
There are two remote wires, one is for pwr ANTENNA(BLUE ONLY),this wire cut the pwr out when you insert a cd.
The other wire is the REMOTE TURN ON(BLUE/WHITE STRIPE)this is the one you need to connect to the you amp.
LET ME KNOW IF IT WORKS.
