Try resetting the unit and also charge it using only the wall charger overnight. - If all this fails - you can call Garmin and they will tell you what you must do. Here's how to reset -it just puts everything back to factory settings - 1- Turn unit on WHILE HOLDING your thumb in the lower right corner as shown in picture. 2-Select YES PLEASE Take the time to vote me up this is my only reward for trying to help. Performing a reset will NOT reset the PIN. There are only three ways to unlock a PIN locked Garmin:

1 - Enter the correct PIN.
2 - Take the unit to the location at which the PIN was initially entered. This is the Security Location.
3 - Send the unit back to Garmin. If you are unable to provide proof of purchase to Garmin, however, they will NOT return the unit to you.
