Question about Goodmans CD / MP3 car radio GCE780MPT CD Player
Hi ive brought a peugeot 206 s reg which has a GCE780MPT CD Player in, but for some reason wont store anything in memory so when car turned off and on again i have to re-tune,i took stereo out to see for some reason the what i presume is the permanent live (orange) is plugged into ignition live (red) and when i reversed them the fuse on the permanent live blew. any help would be gratly appreciated.
Red is to ignition,Orange is for memory back-up,both 12v.
Connect orange to +12v permanent,ie battery,red to ignition +12v

This is a wiring issue that needs to be addressed by an auto electrician, one of the wires needs to be linked to the battery somehow. This is so that it can store it`s memory. had this problem with mine, auto elec guy sorted it for £25. Good luck.
