The sound quit coming from our TV. It happened when the TVC was on. We have it connected to a Direct TV dish modem. I have tried readjusting the audio using the Ilo remote and also using the Direct TV remote and nothing works. We have another TV connected to the Direct TV satellite and it works fine.
I have replaced the audio / video cables (red, white and yellow) between the TV and the satellite modem and still no sound.
I don't have a stereo with external speakers, so I can't try that option.
Thanks,

Is there any kind of fuse inside the TV that would shut down the speakers.

Thanks for your help. Not being an electronics person, I found that the combined costs of control board and technician to install it exceeded the cost of a used (2 year old) 32" Toshiba, so I bought the Toshiba.
