I have a sim app. in my phone it gives me only a few tries to put in a 8 digit code to unlock the phone .where can i get a unlock code .the booklet says it's in my phone manual but where unlock code
You need to call an operator of tracfone and talk to them. They do everything through the computer and if your card becomes locked... which only takes like 4 tries... because i've done it... it will need to be unlocked by the operator... Good Luck! Talking to operators isn't fun... but it's necessary.

That's the exact problem I have! If you go to the Menu and then scroll down to Sim App., When You select "Unlock" in the Sim App., then it gives you the ICC-ID number, the IMEI Checksum, and then it gives you a random number that changes every time you enter the unlock code. When you click OK to all of those, then you have to enter an unlock code, which I thought was the random number because it was eight digits, so when I entered the random number, it said "Invalid Code" and it gives you last remaining attempts left. It knows how many times you've tried to enter the code, so even when I unplugged the battery and removed the Sim card and put it back, it still knows how many times you've tried to enter it. I've triple checked every page of the manual to try to find the unlock code and I've searched all over the web, but I couldn't find it! I don't even know what the Sim App. is, and I only have 2 remaining attempts left. This is also the same for my friend's Motorola TracFone C139 phone, and we've tried everything.
