Hope this helps! If not contact me and I can find you another solution.
Regardless of the source, download the font and save it in a fonts folder on your hard drive.
Double-click the fonts folder and choose "File." You should be able to select "Install New Font" at this point.
Find the fonts you want to install. They may be on a CD or in a folder on your hard drive. When you download fonts from an online site, save them in a place that is easy to access when you install them in Windows.
Highlight the TrueType or OpenType font you wish to install and click "Ok." This will complete the installation. Programs, such as Photoshop will automatically incorporate the new font in the list provided by the program.
Go to the start menu and select "Settings." Open your control panel. In Windows XP, the control panel will be in the start menu. There is no need to look for "Settings" first.
please install all the fonts . On the"stupid" computer you don't have the exact font ...Save the fonts from the wise PC and copy to the stupid one. It make it wiser . :P . Usually fonts are found in folders named "fonts". Windows, Office and Abby Reader are using large collections of fonts.
You have to embed the fonts with Acrobat. Acrobat will embed fonts depending upon your instructions. You will have to select the font which you're wanting from Word inside Acrobat, by following the specific instructions for your version from Help. Open the Help menu, select Search, and enter, "embed fonts." Read the articles there, and it will explain how to make the fonts you want 'stick' when you make a PDF. Hope this helps. If not, please let us know.
You may need to check your preferences in Acrobat, and simply change the embedding to include the font you're using; but what Acrobat shows depends upon the type of font that you're using. You might understand the problem better after reading this article:
