Pioneer DEH-2000MP Radio In 2001 Chrysler T & C

I've removed the OEM radio from my 2001 Chrysler Town & Country and have installed a Pioneer DEH-2000MP radio. I've connected all of the wiring, but there is no sound. The radio powers up and the display is on. Same results with a CD. Don't know where to go from here. Any suggestions?

I'm using 2 adapter cables, but there is a single wire labled "amp" that was plugged into the original radio, but no place for it on the Pioneer.

Hi there!

It is possible that the original connectors are wired differently to the new radio.

Find the speaker cable colour on your vehicle, and match the pins to the connectors on the radio. This may be given in the manual.

You may need a conversion cable for fitting. These are readily available.

Hope this helps you.

Make sure that the speaker wiring is correctly connected. Please see the instruction manual that would have come with the Pioneer deck for correct wiring instructions first. Check that first and let me know..

Well, if the AMP is not wired, then obviously you wouldn't have any sound. What you need is an adapter harness. I would recommend this one:

that should resolve your problem. If you found my answer helpful in any way, kindly take a moment to "Accept" my solution. Thanks.

I need wiring diagram for a deh 2100 pioneer

If you are going to install the radio, I recommend you get a wiring harness specific to your vehicle. It will have the color codes on the package. All aftermarket radios have standardized color coding for wires. hope this helps

What color is the twelve volt wire on the Pioneer DEH 415 model?

There will be 2. One is red (constant power), the other is yellow (switched power).

I recommend you use a wiring harness to install your unit. It not only makes the install easier (you can wire your radio to it without being in the vehicle), but it makes removing and replacing that much easier. Hope this helps

Remove unit from dash

Depends on how it was installed. If there is a cage involved then most likely you need pioneer radio keys. If you own a Toyota or similiar import then you have to remove the entire dash bezzel.

No fader control on a pioneer deh-2000mp

No fader control when using the onboard amplifer or an external one? Do you have all of the speakers hooked up correctly or are you running the fronts and rears off of two speaker outputs?
