If you are talking about the drain pump strainer, you need to remove the lower front panel. should be 3 screws on the bottom facing forward. Once you have that off, the pump strainer is almost in the center, facing you. unscrew it counterclockwise to remove.

Are you ready for a big job?
It means taking the machine right down - drum out and spider off.
If you think you have the skilss and can get the parts locally - check that you can get the bearing - you might need a complete assembly.
If you can get all the bits and still feel up to it - get back to us.
