Check to see if you have a recovery partition on the hard drive. When some computers first power up you see some options like "Press F2 to enter setup, F3 to perform system recovery, etc..." If this is what your computer shows, press the appropriate key to perform the system recovery and follow the screen prompts. If you don't see any options like this, try entering the system BIOS during power on and see if there is an option in the BIOS menu to perform a system recovery. Make sure you back up any files you want to keep before performing the system recovery because they will be deleted.
