Sounds like your settings in ultrasurf are preventing you from visiting certain web sites based on your set preference.

I would suggest looking into your ultrasurf settings an adjusting them more to your needs.

I want to save password in explorer automatically. i do not want to see option to save password.

Internet Explorer 8, like other modern Web browsers, includes the capability to securely store your user names and passwords for your favorite sites across the Web.
This functionality reduces the hassle of having to remember your log-in information for each site you visit, as IE will "AutoComplete" it for you.
If this setting is disabled, you can easily enable it in IE's Internet Options settings pane.
Open Internet Explorer 8.
Click "Tools," then "Internet Options." Select the "Content" tab.
Click "Settings" next to "AutoComplete."
Place a check in the box marked "Forms" and "User names and Passwords."
You can optionally check the "Prompt me to save passwords" if you wish to selectively save passwords.
Click "OK" to save the changes.

I wish to connect a laptop to my wireless network linksys _SES_34573 but do not remember my security key or passphrase. Any suggestions?

Connect the ethernet cable from your router to your computer. (basically don't use wireless)

Go to Start -> Run -> Type "cmd" (no quotes)

A black box should then appear, type "ipconfig" (again don't use quotes). You should then see something where it says Default IP.

Most likely 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. It does not matter if it's different. Go to Internet Explorer type the Default IP into Internet Explorer address bar http://192.168.0.1

It will most likely prompt you for a username / password - If you do not know the username nor password - try looking it up your router in the list on this website http://www.anameless.com/blog/default-passwords.html and use the username/password they suggest.

If that doesn't work - Unplug your router's power cord, and press the reset switch found on the back of the router. Leave unplugged for a few minutes, then try logging into the Default IP address again.. http://192.168.0.1 with the username/password that is suggested at the site above.

Once logged in you can change or Lookup the WEP key. Source(s): http://www.anameless.com/blog/default-passwords.html

Hi,I'm trying to access the configuration page of my D-Link DVG-G1402S by typing http://192.168.15.1 into internet explorer however but nothing happens. It doesn't prompt a username and password, just says...

Hi,

For you to access the router settings page make sure that the rouer is connected to the computer using an ethernet cable so that the computer will be able to comunicate with the router. Then open a browser type 192.168.0.1 on the address bar. The default username is admin and the password is blank. Then you can now change/check the wireless setting page and change it with your desired settings.

Thanks for using Fixya.

How do I know if my router is lock or not?

what exactly you mean by lock. If you want to know if the ui of the router is password protected or not then you connect the router with the computer using a lan cable. go to dos prompt and do a ipconfig
then note the default gateway and then open internet explorer or firefox and write \\ followed by the gateway ip. usually the gateway is 192.168.1.1 so you write \\192.168.1.1. if the now you are prompt for a username and password and you not able to enter with the username and password that means that your router ui is password protected. by default the username is admin and the password is admin or password or leave it blank.

Blocked facebook via router

You can't really get round this easily.
But to by-pass the problems you can
1) reset the router to factory defaults... you will need the username and password for this for the router which are (depending on your version)
Username: admin
Password: password
or
Username: admin
Password: admin

Then set yourself up as primary account holder - you will also need the ISPs log in details.

Alternatively, use a web proxy server to connect to facebook. I reccomend SSLUnblock but for others you can find a nice list of proxy servers here.

If this helped you then please help me and vote kindly, thank you.

How to set up password for the router

Hi,

You should connect your computer to the router with an ethernet cord.

1.Click on Start - accessories - command prompt.

2. On the command prompt, type ipconfig look for the default gateway. Take note of the number found in default gateway.

3. Open Internet Explorer then type the number from the default gateway in the address bar.

A window will pop up and will ask for he username and password. By default, username: admin sometimes they leave it as blank and the password: password sometimes it uses admin as the password.

Keep me posted.
