Bad fuser gear causes binding sound. Gear or fuser needs to be replaced by a tech.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My take on tjis is...the tray is already not functionig so forcing cant make it much worse. Look in tray from rear annd see if lift plate is binding. Try to push tray from rear.

I have a Workio DP-190 all in one Fax Machine. We have recently replaced the toner drum in the last couple of months. But are now recevining a error message saying to replace drum unit. Is there a way to...

yes there is a user troubleshooting to reset the drum counter.
you may follow these steps:

  1. press FUNCTION key
  2. press 1 to select general setting, then press SET to select
  3. press scroll V or /\ to locate the "replace drum" setting
  4. it think it will as for confirmation, if so just press 1 for yes, or 2 for no.
  5. press stop key to exit
  6. you might turn off/on your machine if needed.
that's it. :)

Getting error j43 on workio 190, but there is no paper jam

yep
it is common error for dp-180/190.
and the usual cause of that are worn out 2 bushings of heat roller
what you can do with that is to clean the fuser unit esp. the bushings of heat roller.
well off course the safest way is to replace the whole fusing unit.

that's it. :)

Error code 634 panasonic dp 190

is that a fax error code?
well here is the description for error 634:

Redial count over with no
response, or busy tone was not
detected.
Note:
U.S.A., and Canadian models
will redial only once if a busy
tone is not detected.

this happens when you send fax on an autofax destination.
you may also check your setting for your redial count
that's it :)
