If the cord is dammaged and needs replaced, vist your local appliance parts store or check the manufactures web site for a replacement one. Once you have one, open the console and unplug the old cord. The replacement part should have instructions for a step by step.

My washer wont start

Hi Kimberly:
That's not much info to go on so I'll try some basic starting points.
- Is it plugged in?
- Is there power in that receptacle? Check by seeing if a hair dryer or other appliance will run when plugged in there.
- Is the circuit breaker tripped?
- Did it work before, and what happened when it decided to not work?
- Could the supply cord be broken? This can happen on older machines and usually occurs from where the cord goes into the machine to where it is connected to the machines internal electrical system.
Hope this helps you to isolate the problem.
SAFETY TIP - Do not start checking for a broken supply cord unless the machine is unplugged.

My bosch maxx laundry machine wont turn on

If you dont have power to the machine, your electric cord from machine to power point is broken. To check this turn on at power point and at machine hold cord in hand and shake if machine makes any noise you have a broken lead which can be cut at break and fixed, but better replacing with new cord Hope this helps

J845 washing machine door won't open

1. Unplug the power cord from the outlet.
2. Remove the front lower kick panel.
3. Reach up along the inside of the front panel and locate the bottom of the door latch assembly.
4. Located on the bottom of the door latch assembly is a tear-drop shaped tab.
5. Gently pull the tab down about quarter inch or until a click is heard.
6. The door may now be opened. Your door lock is broken; actually you have to wait 2 minutes after the wash is over to try the door. If you cannot have access through under the machine, you can try through the top. Some models have a cord behind the dispenser tray.

Asko 12505 washer no power replaced fuses still no power door will not open just nothing

Can you access where the power cord goes into it? If so measure voltage at any /all connections. Also look for anything obvious, wires broken, disconnected, burned etc. Hope it's an easy fix.

Washer won't start

Check for power at the terminals and the plug. If the plug and or terminals are discolored, broken, and you have no continuity-replace the power cord, or terminals or both. After a power surge, or lighting these could become burn or broken, and therefore power could be lose.
