The EASY but Time consuming way (If you Only hagve USB 1), is to just RESET the unit.
The manual will run you through it, and reload.
I have both Gigabeat Room, and Win/Player 11, and have reset and reloaded a few times.
Just take some time (Specially with Gig Room)
Good Luck

Max. micro sd card size compatible for Sansa C240

It depends on the version. v1 players can support up to 2GB. v2 players can support up to 8GB.

You can find out what version you have by going into Settings -> System and look at the version. If it starts with a 01 then it's a v1, if it starts with an 03 then it's a v2.

------------------

You can use a card up to 8GB if it's a v1 player by installing Rockbox on it. It's a 3rd party firmware for some mp3 players - although you should make sure to read any instructions for installing it, as well as read the manual.

-> Rockbox.org

I will stress this again: make sure you know what you are doing by reading installation instructions and the manual.

In order to install Rockbox on your player it needs to be in MSC mode (Settings -> USB -> MSC). If your player doesn't have the USB option in the Settings menu then you will need to downgrade your firmware. There's info on this in the Sandisk forums about how to do this.

I cannot seem to find parts for my gigabeat i need a power cord and the dock

In The IMMORTAL Words of Maxwell Smart of "Get Smart" Fame....
"Would YOU Beleive....."
Or in Other Words, THIS is GONNA HURT>>>>
YES, unfortunately, YOU ARE a'gonna lose EVERYTHING on yer Gigabeat....
BUT!!!!!!
IF, like I had to LEARN the HARD WAY, you HAVE downloaded all of yer music, and or other files from either Gigabeat Room, OR, WinMedia Player (Which is WHAT I use for my Gigabeat), All you need to do is simply (Enter Sracastic Groan, Sound of swift kick to my Arse, Etc.), is RE-load the music to your player, if nothing else, this gives you chance to get rid of that **** you always wanted to anyways......
ALSO, BEFORE you do any OF THAT, Have you read through the VOLUMES of info that "Rockbox" supplies to trouleshoot???
Ther just MAY be a patch, BUT if not, WEll, like Max would say
"Missed it by THAT much...."
Take heart, that by this experience, you will ALWAYS have a "BACKUP" for your player, (AND WHATELSE????) B-4 you downlaod anything.....
I know I DO!!!
Good Luck, and let yer Electronic Mantra be
" I HEREBY SWEAR TO ALWAYS, AND FAITHFULLY BACKUP ANYTHING I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE TO SPEND COUNTLESS HOURS RELOADING DUE TO SOME CRAPPY PROGRAMMER WHO HAS ZITS, GREASY HAIR, LIVES IN IS PARENTS HOVEL OF A CRACKER BOX, ONLY KNOWS WOMEN BY TH FAST FOOD JOINTS HE HAUNTS, AND HAS SCABS IN TRULY APPROPRIATE PLACES, AND DESERVEDLY SO, FOR CAUSING ALL OF THIS GREIF, WHEN HE SHD HAVE DOUBLE CHECKED HIS WORKS, INSTEAD OF DOWNLOADING THIS **** HE CALLS "SOFTWARE".....
And THATS my DIPLOMATIC version of those scaly scabby little cockroaches whom, if it were legal, would Attach Battery Cables to a 950 Watt Power Supply, and with Industrial Rubber Gloves, and a Diesel Semi-Truck Battey included, attch to the scrawnly little ******-woods...
Ahh, But I Digress...., Sorry
I hope this helps.....
There truly is NOT a "Easy Fix" out there, BUT, I do love my seemingly INDESTRUCTIBLE G-Beat!!!

1 - since you really did nt delete all of rockbox (you shoud reinstall the whole thing) this will take of the system looking for it.
2 - you will have a dual boot up and a choice of which one u wish
Key Action

Power Start Rockbox
Long Power Shutdown Rockbox
On shutdown, Rockbox automatically saves its settings.

Rockbox has a dual-boot feature. To boot into the original firmware, press and hold the Left button while turning on the player.
