Question about Toshiba Satellite A205-S5851 Notebook
Www.insidemylaptop.com has good tutorials about taking apart laptops with good photos as well. It may be something as simple as the cable from the keyboard coming loose. It will probably look like a small IDE cable (flat and about an inch wide), and will probably be secured by a hinged plastic clamp that lifts up and the cable slides in out out. It's a common mistake people make when they work on their laptops. That is to say they don't put the cable in squarely and securely pushing the clamp down fully and the cable is off center or improperly inserted. Dropping one can cause them to slip out of place as well. Hope this helps.
