Hi, Remove the top cover, and release the door catch from inside the washer, you will probably need a screwdriver or similar to do do this. You will need to replace the door catch and spring, and possibly the door lock, as it may break when you force the door open. Thank you !!

if clothes are still in washer? and machine has finished cycles? then handle broke so unable to open ??? your best option is to unplug/ and if necessary disconnect water supply hoses then remove the top screws from rear panel which also secure the top panel as you will observe ? then pull backwards top panel and loft off ? you now have access/visual of the door catch inside front machine look?? at the catch and you will see how it locks ? you can lever the catch gently and door opens to fit a new door catch is easy diy and not expensive if you are confident usual problem these break ? is the time delay micro switch sticks with age /moisture try dw40 and work plunger b4 you refit door back after replacing handle/catch assy
Get a thin screwdriver and poke it in between the door frame and the front of the washer where the door latches in, push hard and see if it will release that way..
If no go, then remove top of washer , and with a long screwdriver or similar try to release the door catch from inside the front of washer, you may have to lever it open, and possibly break the door lock in the process.
There really is no other way of releasing door.
You obviously will have to replace the whole door handle assy, and the door lock.
Plz rate my solution.
Try first to unplug the power cable and see if it allow you to open the door.
In case it will not help, you have to raise the top of the washer to get to the switch and release it manually (The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame).
not that easy. best way to try is to chew away as much of the handle as possible till the door peg is in view then prise open with a small screwdriver. you can sometimes reach down the inside the machine from the top and feel for the tip of the peg and do it that way
New door sensor im afraid, unless the machine senses that the door is properly shut none of your wash or spin cycles will start.Sensor located inside washer casing , where lock pin on door handle enters machine. It may just be loose, try tightening the two screws either side of lock keep.If it needs replacing you will need to UNPLUG washer ,remove lid and slide your arm down inside front of washer to access.Good luck.
You should open machine's upper panel (release 2 screws in the machine's back and slide the cover out) and then you will have an access to it. You should buy a new door catch and replace the broken one. Be aware that you should disconnect machine's power cable before doing it.
