Question about Canon Pixma iP6000D InkJet Photo Printer

1 Answer

No power to Canon Pixma ip6000d

My ip6000d will not turn on. I am told that it may be a problem with the main logic board. Anyone know how much this would be to replace/fix. It is already $25 just for the diagnostic test on it.

thanks

If that thing runs on an AC adaptor, check the end of the adaptor to see if there is any power going to it.

My Canon Pixma MP 830 went dead during printing. It just will not turn on anymore.Already replaced the power supply, but still does not turn on.Any help would be very much apreciated.

I assume you checked the power cord.
If you have changed the internal power supply (the black box in the left real corner), then all that is left is the main logic board.
That repair would be cost-prohibitive on this model.

Canon Pixma IP2000 - mains fuse blows

Try removing the printhead before powering up, after that you need either a new power supply or main logic pcb.

Canon pixma mp210 wont turn on orange alarm light solid no response?

If you can take out the printhead it might power up, sometimes that is caused by a bad printhead. If not that light indicates a bad main logic board and it's cheaper to buy a new printer.

20 times Other hardware error [6500] - Logic board ***'y (QM2-2670)*1

Its the small circuit board next to the carriage unit

You can get one for about $30 from this company web site.

You probably have to contact them directly to get your exact circuit board.
