Better to go in Best Buy. In regards with the cost, depends on the damage. Thank you.

SOURCE: dvd player repair

I'm guessing you are from US. First you should try to clean the DVD reading eye. there are aid kits in most of the music/movie stores. must chances that it will solve your problem. if the problem appears in some DVD and not all make sure that: 1. The DVD disk are clean 2. You DVD player can read the DVD format. For repair person you can try Fixya repair directory - appears on the right bar - help you find repair man in your area. also most of them will give you free estimation about the cost. According to the cost you will be able to know if it worth repair. Hope it was helpfull

SOURCE: This is a Durabrand DVD portable player and will

It is up to you if you wish to submit the player for repair to a service centre. Personally, since Durabrand is a cheap DVD player (retailed new for less than $50), it would be cheaper and easier to simply buy a new player - rather than spend good money on repairs to this one (a product recall was issued on the Durabrand DVD-1002 model a couple of years ago).

In any event, the 'No disc' error refers to the laser which has failed. Not economical to repair as it is a 'budget' model.

Dvd player ,brand name Arrgo. Wont turn on and power indicator light keeps flashing yellow and red .how do I fixit?

You can't fix this, you can't buy the parts, you will need to send it in for repair, which often costs as much as just replacing it.

Service a DVD player in Victoria, B.C.

depending on cost of player may be cheaper to replace than repair---Best Buy etc do repair some equipment---getting parts for most of these units can be impossible and repair usually exceeds the cost of replacing the player.

To be more specific the screen is cracked. where to send for repair

Because this is a budget-design model, the cracked screen could quite possibly make the repair uneconomical, assuming a replacement LCD panel was available for it. However, you can submit the player to any reputable authorised DVD repair centre in or around your area for a quote - but be warned - if you go ahead, it could be expensive, unless you have a manufacturer's warranty or similar. These units are generally not repairable at individual component level, which makes the repair cost prohibitive in a budget model such as this. Up to you.

A new player may cost less than the repair/replacement parts for this one.

My unit quit working where do i send it for repairs

You can submit your unit to any authorised DVD repair centre or a specialised Panasonic service outlet if there is one in your area. The cost of the repair will depend on the problem(s) and/or any parts or boards replaced.

If the unit is not under an extended manufacturer's warranty, it could be expensive, but get a quote first.

Blew Up

The power supply is probably what blew. There is nothing you can do yourself other than sending it for repair.

Considering that this is a low end player, It may not be worth to pay the cost of servicing it.
